What is the best way to remove food odors like onion or garlic from cutting boards?
Vinigar, wash, then soap and water then dry in the sun.
If you rub either baking soda or some salt into the boards it can help remove food odours. Also a little bit of fresh lemon really freshens the board up. Just rub some fresh lemon on the board, let it dry and then rinse with luke warm water.
