    What do you call a Coke?

    Soda, pop, or something else?  What do you call an ice cold Coca Cola and what part of the world are you from?

    Haha.  Love the question.

    I grew up in California.  We called all carbonated beverages a "coke" or a "pop"

    Then I moved to New England.  Here, a "coke" is a coca cola.  All carbonated beverages are called "soda"

    Fun to see answers on this one.

    If from the Southern USA and we just call it soda. No matter what type it is it is still a soda. The only people I hear call it Pop here are from the north.

    every thing here is " coke".........now, what kind do you want?

    "Coca-cola, Pepsi, Mt Dew, or Root Beer"............everything is coke!

    Just like Kool-Aid........you have choices.
