Do you have a weird food habit?

Most people have something about themselves that is unusual, and many have to do with food. I have at least two: I will eat the thing on my plate that I like the least first and I usually will not eat anything on my plate if any cold food is touching any hot food. Do you have a weird food habit that you're willing to share?

Dessert has no effect on me whatsoever.  I can eat chocolate cakes, pastries, muffins, and then eat a full course meal afterwards with no difficulties of any kind; my appetite never waivers after eating sweets of any kind.

Oh man, how I wish I could do that! I have trouble even reminding myself to save room for dessert!

Definitely eating food in order.  I want to eat what I like best last so that is the last flavor I've tasted.  This doesn't count with steak though.  Stake I eat first because I want to eat it when it is still hot and has the most appeal.

Steak definitely gets eaten first, so do eggs. Eggs are just plain nasty when they get cold!

Whenever I am at a restaurant-buffet, I eat few food dishes from the main course category along with appetizers and soup. We are supposed to eat food in the right order - first appetizers, them main course and last dessert. But I ate the combo of appetizers and few main course food dishes.  This is one weird food habit of mine!

When I'm at a buffet, I usually only eat the side dishes and dessert, unless they have steak. People always complain that I'm not getting my money's worth!

Yeah, I like to put a layer of potato or corn chips in my PB &J sandwich!

I'll put chips in almost any sandwich. I also love peanut butter and Captain Crunch sandwiches!

Generally when I eat, I am not satisfied until I have eaten something with a crunch!  But the strangest food habit of mine is when I eat a Big Mac!  I always eat the top half first then the second half instead of as a whole sandwich.  But then again, french fried pickles dipped in mustard and catsup is pretty good!

Yikes on the fried pickles, but I agree with you about wanting something crunchy. I also don't like it when the whole meal is too sweet. I need something savory, too!

I have no idea why my family thinks I'm weird for putting potato chips on my bologna and mustard sandwich or for dunking cookies in my Diet Pepsi. Doesn't everybody add stuff to their sandwich and dunk in their drinks?

Ha! I don't think I want to dunk anything in diet pop! I might try it just once, though!

If I'm eating chips and salsa, I eat the small chips first and save the bigger chips for last.

If I'm having chips and salsa, I usually don't dip the little ones in the salsa. I just eat them plain.

I dip chips and fries in ice cream.  It's the perfect combo of salty and sweet.
