What is your adult beverage of choice?
In preparation for an upcoming article, I figured that I would ask fellow hubbers their favorite bar drink. Apparently, there have been several studies correlating alcohol preference to personality, choice of hobby, and even success. Hold nothing back, and let me know what you crazy people like to drink.
Sometimes I like a pomegranate martini. At least then I feel like I am getting some nutrients but sometimes I like a ylingyling or Blue moon Beer.
Oh wow so many to choose from! My favorite is probably a Bahama Mama. I can drink fishbowls of these. This is more of a night out drink for me (as those almost never happen as a mother) Very yummy sweet drink. Next would be a sour apple caramel martini. These are more of a drink with dinner thing though. I couldn't imagine having more than one or two at a time. If I am in a bad mood straight whiskey. When I was poor it was vodka with the cheapest OJ I could find. I remember buying jugs of vodka in my younger years for $9! Those times have come and gone!
Absinthe...........................................................................
Why, I'll have a beer, please. But not just any beer.
I think nancynurse is tipping the ylingyling already. Coincidentally, I just bought a case of Yuengling Oktoberfest.Yuengling is the oldest brewery in the U.S. you know. If I'm out at a restaurant or bar, I'll usually order a Heinekin or Sam Adams. And I never drink more than two if I'm driving.
For home consumption I'm a little more concerned about price. I like Dundee for $20 a case as opposed to over $30 for Heinekin or Sam Adams. I mean, if it was just me I wouldn't mind spending the money, but my buddies come over to watch my NFL Sunday Ticket. I particularly like the Dundee craft packs where you get four different beers, an India pale ale, a bock, a pilsner, and a stout.
beer is my number one but i also love long island ice tea.
Reminds me of the time my buddy got a promotion so he says I'll take you guys out and buy you Long Island Ice Teas all night. They did but I drank beer. I had to help them all get home including one guy in a wheelchair.
A classic martini made with Bombay Sapphire gin and a Santa Barbara garlic-stuffed olive.
I'm a huge fan of craft beer. IPAs and stouts are my favorites. The hoppier the better!
Beer or Red wine. Preferably right bank Bordeaux such as the Christian Mouiex Pomerol, or Chateau Plince. The rhone valley has some nice ones too.
Not a major fan of beer... Budweiser tends to be the only one I enjoy. My drink of choice changes so I can't really say I have one. But these days I go for Coke and Disarrono
Chardonnay is my favorite alcoholic beverage. If you are talking something a little more fancy, the second runner up would be a frozen strawberry daiquiri.
Usually, I like a Blue Moon with an orange slice.. As far a martini's lemon pleaseā¦ And if I drink wine it would be a merlot.
Mine depends on the season
For fall it is Dogfish Head Pumpkin Ale
Winter is kahlua Hot Chocolate
Spring is Long Island Iced Tea
Summer is Mikes hard lemon aid
A whiskey sour made with Evan Williams Cherry Reserve. Totally awesome.
chilled pinot grigio....love it! Although, when enjoying Mexican food a margarita is pretty yummy too!
