   What is your favorite pumpkin recipe?

   Just tried a new recipe for easy pumpkin "muffins" on Monday.  One can pumpkin, and a box of yellow cake mix.  Mix together, put in muffin tins and bake for about 20 minutes.  That's it.  They came out pretty good, think I'm going to try it again with a spice cake mix instead of yellow cake - I also have to remind myself that pumpkin doesn't expand like cake does, so I need to fill up the tins more!

      Also - I just noticed you have lots of gluten free recipes in your hubs. The recipe says this works with GF cake mix! I haven't tried that yet, but it was the main reason I was interested in this recipe.

   PUMPKIN PIE -my mum's recipe.  I am going to try and convince her to give it to me so I can share in a hub.  It's delicious.

   While my absolute favorite is pumpkin bars (essentially a moist pumpkin cake topped with cream cheese frosting)--we eat them year round.
   
   Another fall time favorite is pumpkin pie dip; it's super easy to make and always a crowd pleaser at parties. I have a hub about it if you're interested in the recipe.

   Although my husband loves pumpkin pie and I make it for him, I don't enjoy it. But I do love pumpkin custards. You don't need to make a pie crust. You make the custard almost like a pumpkin pie filling, except with more milk and about 8 eggs. You bake them in the oven in a water bath for about 45 minutes, or until firm. It fills the house with the amazing pumpkin pie fragrance, too!
