From my own experience $30.00 is a fair price for a bushel of peaches.

That's seems about right Possum, because I just got finished paying $35.00 today for a bushel of fresh Georgia peaches.

It really depends on where you live. I've seen them go for $22 up to $40. Michigan was a hurting unit last year because of a bad crop, and I don't know if the peaches have come back this year. A bushel of peaches will make you some mighty fine canned peaches or peach pies, and the bushel basket will serve a multitude of needs, such as a catch-all for garden tools or assist children in picking up their toys. Of course, peaches isn't just a fruit - you can call your loved ones peaches if their girls. Have at it!
