What's the ideal dessert to have on a hot Summer's day...?
Something with fruit. Maybe a mixed berry meringue tart, or a fruit jelly (when the jelly mix has cooled, put the fruit into the jelly mould and pour the cooled jelly mixture over) and of course, there's always ice cream or sorbets. How about Tiramisu ice cream just for something different?
Make a cantelope (rock melon) sorbet, sandwich it between hazelnut meringue and freeze. When ready to serve, cut thick slices for each guest and serve with chilled raspberry coulis. [At some stage, I'll make a hub about this.... ]
I love cold watermelon on a hot day. There is nothing more refreshing. It just says "summer" to me.
Ice cream. But which kind? That's the problem! Chocolate mint, oreo, peppermint, vanilla, etc. Are there sprinkles? What kind? Do they hurt your teeth or actually make it taste better? There is a huge difference. Is there chocolate sauce or would you prefer strawberry?
A delicious oats and honey fruit salad is a refreshing and healthy dessert.
Mine is a homemade sherbert like Lemon Mint, Mango Coconut, or Berry Lime.

What's your favorite way to have a hot dog and what do the kids like? Are you a ketchup and relish fan, rap them up in bacon and biscuits, Chicago dogs, or do you have your own special way? Is there a certain brand you always eat (Hebrew for me if I do eat them)? What about on the grill?
