I myself have been drinking raw milk from grass fed, truly free range cows for the past 4 months to regain my nutrition. It is almost a whole food. It just lacks adiquate iron so I eat raw tahini paste with honey. I recently got some high butterfat milk goats so now I drink their milk, as it is more calorie and nutrition dense than cows; plus it is easier to digest
Eat protein. Avoid junk food. Abstain from alcohol. Take prenatal vitamins. Add fresh fruit and vegetables to your diet. Nature sides with the baby so it will take what it needs. Make sure you are both getting enough of a good diet.
Continue these habits when you are breastfeeding.
Big NO NO to Junk foods, Drink plenty of water, juices, milk..which is equally important for the mother and also the kid. Being hydrated is very important as only then would the child all the necessary nutrition thru the channel.
Avoid food that would create excess heat in the body.
Eat every 2 hrs.
consume at least 2 different fruit each day.
