I'm curious as to how many people have thoughts on Mountain Dew, the effects of it, and their opinion on the taste of it. I personally am a caffeine addict, mostly by necessity. However, I can drink caffeinated products and go straight to bed (if I have time)

Mountain Dew is probably my favorite soda. I've never had a problem going to sleep or had any negative side effects from it. Then again, I don't go crazy with it or drink it 24/7 (Had a friend who did that and got UTI after UTI)
I think it's fine, as long as you drink it in moderation.
I hold the record as far as friends go, I recorded from Jan 1 one year to Jan 1 the next, just how much caffeine I drank, and I am ashamed to say, I drank on average 2 two liters a day making my caffeine consumption over 35k ounces of mountain dew that year, I have slowed down to about 3 20oz bottles every day during the week, and 2 on weekends, still too much, but hey, it tastes good
thats true .... i once had so many empty bottles in the back of my car that a friend of mine said well we know what your drug of choice is lmao and the n i cleaned them out only to fill 3 13 gallon trash bags full ... what can i say i am addicted lol
Personally, I would advise against the use of high caffeinated drinks. It is an addictive stimulant and "unnaturally" increases heart rate. These types of things that stimulate the body in such a manner are harmful in the end. Just a thought, though.
My Uncle helped developed it, (and yoohoo) my mother taste tested many many trial versions before it was introduced...she detested it as a result. We never had it growing up, first time I tried it as an adult, I thought..blech...sugar...
I do know people who like it, are rather addicted...
Unfortunately, I discovered my problem while driving. The third time it happened, I figured out what was going on. Nothing like driving along the edge of the road at 25 miles an hour because you can't seem to keep the car going in a straight line at any higher speeds.
I suffered caffeine withdraw once, never again, I would rather die from caffeine overdose, if that's possible, I couldn't function for days, my head felt like it was going to implode, my nose bled, all in all, not pretty
I have never had Mountain Dew. I can't bring myself to drink something that looks like "pee". Just the color of it is a total turnoff for me. It may taste great, I have no idea, but visually I think it's gross.
When I was pregnant and violently nauseous, my coworker in the next cubicle would pour it in a clear glass and leave it on his desk. After about 2 days, I had to politely ask him to either keep it in the can or put it in a dark cup or something. He completely understood considering I looked as green as the can. I think his name was Brian. He was such a nice guy
Mountain Dew Introduces Breakfast SodaFebruary 12, 2013 at 8:15AM by Zoe Bain | 20 CommentWhile coffee, tea, and juice are typically the morning beverages of choice, Mountain Dew is hoping that what people really want for breakfast is soda. "Pepsi’s Lawsuit Defense: Mountain Dew Would Have Dissolved Mouse Carcass""Pepsi Co. is being sued by a man in Illinois who claims that he found a dead mouse in a can of Mountain Dew, but Pepsi says that it’s impossible. Why? It’s not because Pepsi has such high standards when it...
I think i'm starting to run out of ideas for your folks to talk about. however, here's a good one. your at a bar, and you ask for another drink then the bar tender responds by giving you the bird so to speak. what would you do?
