what's your favourite dessert? do you make them yourself or do you buy ready made ones. Any recipes?
it has to be creme brulee. I just go nuts with the hard sugar topping. you crack it and get to the smooth center. It really taste good.
Anything with CHOCOLATE in it...like Chocolate Fudge Cake, or Chocolate Brownie with Hot Fudge sauce from a good Restaurant...yum, yum!
I am especially in favor of deserts with multiple formats and textures of chocolate in them. Death by Chocolate is for me.
Not really a sweet person always order a cheese board for dessert if given the chance love all cheese the smellier the better.
i'm a sucker for sticky buns and baklava. can't make my own, have tongue will travel
chocolate mousse anytime please...I get mine from a great pastry shop
Rice pudding with almond meal and cardamoms. Its divine...
Eat dessert first!! (title of one of my recent hubs)
Anything off the sweet trolley for me... in fact, I judge a restaurant by its desserts - I award silver spoons for the best, but very few five sliver spoons restaurant out there...
I love to make desserts. My dessert of choice for this holiday was Pavlova. Had one on xmas day with cherries and flaked chocolate, and a more traditional one on Boxing Day with banana, kiwi fruit, and passionfruit. We also had a trifle on Tuesday night - which is always best eaten the next day for breakfast, so you have to make a big one The dessert I like to make to impress is profiteroles or chocolate fondant. The dessert I can never say no to in a restaurant is creme brulee (or crema catalana as posted above!)
Because I got a Persian cookbook for xmas I am going to be making Persian desserts during January. YUM
Rotten Egg Pie! Every holiday or family get together.
And yes, there is a recipe - probably the only #1 google spot I have (how much competition is there for that)?
Lemon meringue pie at a restaurant. if I had the whole pie at home I would eat it all myself!
Nothing can be good ice cream, especially when you make it yourself, like I do.
have you heard of 'firni'....it is a pakistani dessert made of only rice flour, sugar and milk....it is yummy.
My favorites are: shortcakes or biscuits with strawberries, whipped cream and spiced red wine sauce; chocolate mousse; french macarons; eclairs; and chocolate chip cookies. I make these wonderful desserts from scratch
Anything chocolate. Chocolate cake, brownies, mudd pie loaded with chocolate fudge sauce, tiramisu, chocolate chip cookies....etc.
Definitely leche flan. Milk, sugar, egg yolks, caramelized sugar on top. Not for everyday consumption because it's very sweet but you'll forget your name if you taste it.
My favorites include:
1. Moist Chocolate Cake;
2. Mango Float;
3. Mango Banggo;
4. Window Cathedral;
5. Macaroni salad.
