Has HubPages been hacked?

   I have seen mulitple reports of corrupted RSS feeds, hubs in favorite topics belong to somebody else, etc. It looks to me as if the site may have been hacked. Or is it a database problem of some kind?

      Me too! I was so shocked when I saw my profile page. I avatar staring at me was not mine! My favorite topics are all wrong too! I posted the same question in the ask a question portion of hubbers hangout.

   It looks like a very simple rss confusion that is really only effecting profile links and feeds.
   
   I doubt this is a hack and spam is misused here.
   
   The hubber that is showing up in my rss feed is certainly not a spammer or a hacker
   
   But i hope a lot of emails are being sent to Hp rather than forum threads being started

         I emailed the moment I saw the problem pointed out in the forum.
         
         That is all i can do.
         
         But Spam/Hack etc. leads to confusion and hysteria. No reason to worry anyone. Its just one small aspect of the site. Most outside visitors will never go to your profile page and although unfortunate that a few feeds that some may intentionally inert in their hubs are not displaying correctly...these things happen.
         
         Its like 3 in the afternoon on a Sunday for the HP staff - i hope most are outside enjoying family and things of that sort - give em some time to check their mail and all that

   At least all the mix up is internal and there are not links to outside of HP.  I'd rather send traffic to hubpages users as opposed to sending them away from hubpages.  Chew on them apples.

    I am being stalked by AshleytheHottet.  She keeps leaving comments on my one hub.  I've deleted her twice and she keeps coming back.  Worse than a fungus!

       If the comments are harassing or inappropriate, report her to team@hubpages.com.   If they are just annoying, then continue to ignore her comments.  I see she's very very very new.

       I just looked her up - she a CHILD!!
       She shouldn't even be on Hubpages - she's too young.
       Check her profle - then her hubtivity, and see what she posted on another hub.

             I've done that KCC. Its a shame because she seemed sweet to me - especially when she commented on a hub about how to get and keep a man! LOL But she is far too young to be here.
             Looks like the staff are going to be incredibly busy sorting out whatever has gone wrong with the site!

    Omg my favorite topics have changed to finance. Honestly I cannot survive without a calculator and accountant. Maths is my weakness including money. A far cry from my normal little black dress hubs.

    I do not even have a favorite hubs section my hubtivity is under my most recent hubs and my fans\followers is in the sidebare. It has been this way for several days. I just thought HP was making some changes?

    When something like this happens is it like a virus?? My mom's facebook page started acting weird and someone got her email, started asking people in adress book for money, then it almost completely crashed her computer?

          Ya, like a month ago. The hacker was telling people in her address book she was stranded and needed money to get back. Then when she went to e-mail them to say it was BS her computer went crazy...............It was like $200+ to get it fixed...

             Although, the appearance of my profile page has been fixed for many, many hours.
             
             The feed for sunforged/latest  has hubs by sandra rinck being syndicated also

    actually the search errors are not unique to a forum search
    
    - now the error is a forum based search - is giving returns on hubs.
    
    Still says - Forum posts matching "------------"
    
    but displays all hubs as results
