As many times as I can between the times I take booze, which often fills me up and makes me not hungry.  But, yeah, pretty much whenever I can.  I am an American, so I have a reputation to live up to.

As many as times possible. Very interesting. There is no side effects?

I recon it depends in what is eaten rather than how often!

I eat breafast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes a small snack at night if I'm hungry. And in the evenings I have some fruits.

I aim to eat about 6-7 smaller meals per day. The reason I do this is because I will get energy throughout the day and helps me stay lean.

That means you are not worried about whatever you eat is digested and got energy out of that.

I used to take a food thrice a day.

As per doctor to take adequate food at a same time may lead to harmful health but to take small quantity of food many times lets you have perfect health and body fit.

Generally 3 times a day, just the way I was brought up.  It varies depending how busy I am.  I try not to eat junk food or snacks in between those meals.  Instead I'll have fruit or green tea and toast or something.

More important really is the quantities consumed.  You shouldn't consume any more calories that you can 'burn off' with exercise or activity.

Once you've figured out how many calories you need (average adult - 2200 per day) you can spread that out over the day any way you wish, as long as your activity level is sufficient to burn off the calories.

Don't sweat the numbers, just use common sense, and don't be a couch potato.

Well done.when you are talking about calorific value of food, it is better to understand that, each type of food has it own calorific value.

Second thing , how you got used with no of times taking food. You can't change that habit just like that. It needs more of practising.

And not counting the no of times, the digestion of intaken food also matters.

couch potato, no way, no watching.

Depends, but usually 3 times or I eat little meals throughout the day 5 x (i.e. pieces of fruit, yogurt and salads...haven't had much of an appetite). Today I was really hungry for some reason and I ate a little more, but now I feel icky.

3-4 times but the recommended qty is 6-8 meals per day. obviously they need to be small. more and healthy meals a day keep the metabolism active.

I eat three meals a day along with 2-3 healthy snacks between meals. I try not to eat after supper but if I am hungry I will have a fruit. I find the snacks help to hold me so I am not famished at meal times therefore, I eat smaller meals.  Also, frequent but reasonable eating keeps the metabolism higher which helps to burn more calories.

I graze thru out the day and it really depends on how much activity I have had during the day.  The more mental and physical activity, the more grazing.  The less exercise, the less I graze.  smile

overall it depends on your matabolism and what you eat; fiber insted of refined flour, fruits is good if does´t have loads of sugar, like mangos, melons, pineapples, watermelon, raisins of couse exercise is premiun in the afternoon(4 - 5 pm)
