If you have some free time please explain a time when you applied it and how it worked.

      "Nice shoes, wanna...."

You get the idea. And if you use this, you also get a black eye.

I've never had a whole lot of pick up lines used on me (or nothing good anyway), but I thought this one was pretty sweet and funny (at the time, now I think it's obnoxious).

I was in college and working at the Bowling & Billiards in the university's Student Center.  It was a slow day and I was just scribbling stuff on paper and a guy walked up to me and asked what I was writing.  I just said "just stuff" and he said, "write this down" and he gave me a string of numbers.  I had no idea what it was, but wrote it down anyway and then he said, "That's my number.  Call me."  LOL, I didn't call him, of course, and I don't remember ever seeing him again after that.  I still think it's funny, though tongue

Through my college years I remember one of my mates (not me...honest!) saying to a girl; "Your feet must be sore?", to which the girl replied "why?" with a quizzical look on her face, and he replies "because God just dropped you from heaven to be with me."

The reason it is so memorable is because they are now happily married thanks to that initial chat-up line.

      Congrats smile

Although the actual punchline to that pickup is "because you've been running through my mind all day.." wink

I like my cousin's best.  He used to say "Hi, my name is xxxx, how do you like me so far?"
