Everybody remember's Michael Jackson, the media, (and the clever promotion of the family) won't let us forget.

Also we remember him by the way we dress and dance and sing. He has an influence on our everday life we will never be able to forget. When you think about him; there are at least 20 songs you can hum or sing every word of. He does not need any promoting!

I don't think there's a chance anyone will forget, even if they wanted to.  (remember Elvis?)

I was just thinking about whether or not fans will keep his memory alive similar to the way they do with Elvis.

MJ was quite the entertainer; too bad it seemed he really struggled with life though; but I don't think that is unusual for some artists....

I'm curious, in the USA, does anyone know if fans are gathering at his home?

amen to that, i knew i could not be the only one..........  I don't know enough about his life.......  but i think a lot of people were totally turned off by the bad publicity, it seems here on H.P. to be the case......  Aw well let god be the judge i say...... roll

yup, I"m a fan, always was always will be until the day I die.  Whether or not he's guilty isn't for me to decide - and it doesn't affect his talent one way or the other.

Guys you are nasty! He was a very unhappy man, who never knew the real life of a child and wanted it so much that he forgot that a grown man cannot behave like a child. And that you should not trust strangers esp. with a doctor's diploma! Now o-o-ps! Too late!

It is unfortunate but we must accept that any craze remains only when one is live. We forget even our dearers over a period of time even when live.
