Hi, I've been reading about hubbers experience re reaching their first $100 dollars from adense from their hubs - it's great how people share information (I haven't anthing to add there as I've not been a member long enough to fully assess - but looking good - especially in relation to Triond!).

My question is about your traffice sources.  As I pointed out, I have been a member for only 5 weeks.  The first week my only traffic (not to put you down) only came from Hubbers.  In the second week yahoo.co.uk showed and google.com a few days later.  By the third week all sorts of googles were showing up and traffic came from 14 search engines in total.  Today things have really picked up 18 differnent SEs and google.com over 100 alone.  What's your experience been with traffic?

I'm really impressed with hubpages' performance and really didn't expect it to be as good.  Has hubpages over performed in relation to your initial expectations?

      I can't say it's over-performed, but it's gotten to a performance level I have hoped for.

Your experience sounds similar to mine. I do promote some hubs in specific relevant forums so obviously I get that traffic too. Yahoo and ocaisionally msn tend to notice first and the google will come along - though google may drop me after a month and then pick me up again a month after that - its all to do with the keywords and competition. If I write about Australia I get a fair amount of g.com.au traffic - if I write about India I get the India google traffic - it comes from all over really

Hubpages has done well by me. They take their share of the Google revenue, but that being said, the traffic outperforms traffic at my own blogs also running Adsense. I don't mind paying Hubpages their well earned commission.

Most of my traffic is Google traffic. I occasionally get picked up by a "link of the day" site, which will rush a heavy influx of traffic to a hub and be gone the next day. I still submit to Digg (but for me that's pretty much like playing the lottery), but have better luck submitting to places off the beaten path.

Stick with it. I'm getting my second Google check via Hubpages in December.

In some cases Hubpages have gone WAY beyond what I expected as far as traffic.
Most of my traffic comes from Hubpages and social sites.
Actually with Hubpages, Google and Yahoo just about tie as far as traffic coming in goes.
I have noticed most of my Hubs get listed with Google in 24 to 48 hours.
Of course it does not hurt to link to your Hubs from blogs either.

Google and Yahoo! are 2 sources where most of my visitors come from. Probably this is because I unintentionally optimize my hubs for Google, while MSN/Live Search needs other approach to on-page SEO. Well, never mind I see pretty interesting stats wink

Your search engine results are based on what you do, the popularity of hubpages helps but is mostly your writing that will bring se traffic.

I recieve most of mine from google, yahoo, and  msn there are other occasional se's but mostly these three.
