The black cabbie's rumour about England's poor showing in the world cup are pointing their finger's at Steven Gerrard. The rumour is that during the run up to the world cup, a gag order was imposed stopping any one mentioning the following Story.
The alleged story is that Steven Gerrard did willing, get a sixteen year old girl pregnant, just before the world cup. Naturally the England camp was spilt.
John Terry the former England captain, had just lost the captains arm band for of field activity, and would have been incensed if given to someone just as guilty as he, yet was not allowed to mention it.
Which all leads to a England camp, that would be far from happy to play football at the weekend together.
Someone please tell me this is just an empty rumour, and not the reason that we exited the world cup so early. How stupid would we look if we could not even take a team to the world cup that could get along with each other.
The 16 yr old girl is also his wifes sister.(apparently)
But no, England lost because the players simply aren't as good as they think they are.
I believe they didn't do well because they didn't want it enough. There was no real fire in them, just some stroppy behaviour and some very poor play.
England's world cup misfortunes were due to a team of individuals who were more worried about their day job and who did not appear to care enough to play heroically. In short, they were crap. Sorry guys, but our international days are over, football is all about the money. And scandal. Obviously.
Keep going, I have to go to bed, But I cant wait to read your witty insights in the morning. You guys are cracking me up. SO do not hold back. LET IT OUT!
Don't Worry Mate... Even a Drunk can be Relevant if he doesn't act obnoxiously!
Crying about England's dismay display is as relevant as a Drunk's Hangover!
The Germans were always going to beat ya.. As Sure as the Kiwis didn't loose a game
Oh You're quite welcome
Argentina get their beans in 3 hours as well (if that's any consolation)
An amazing set of results all round mate!
Whilst the internet rumours are great fun I don't believe them (the fact Steven Gerrards wife doesn't have a sister is a bit of a problem for starts).
Overall we had too many individuals for sure and no team ethic. It's sad but we've turned into the Dutch in that element although without the excellent technical ability and brains to run in diaganol lines and make space.
The answer is to finally build the national youth coaching centre and once and for all solve our never ending problem of having a half working conveyer belt of talent. 2 semi finals in all those tournaments speaks for itself. We should be better as a nation than we are but unlike other countries never sort the root problem out.

The coming year would be the World Cup year. So, who will be the champion? Argentina? Spain? Brazil? England?

This might be 2 questions in one, but here goes either way...#1. Is England/ UK the only country that goes mad with football/ soccer songs in support of their national team?#2. We really like this chant by The Laddz, "Chant Like an English Fan" (http://myspace.com/theladdz) has anybody...
