banned from what? From BH, from your service provider? From the internet? From the world?

      Adult sites should be banned?

      From HubPages, they already are.

      As for the Internet? No.

As for such as porn? No.

Oppression and suppression gets no one anywhere.

Banned?  Don't you know that if you ban porn all your going to do is make organized crime a lot stronger, as they'll just use it to make porn movies and sell it on the black market.  thus, it would be a critical blow to the world, as it would not only cost a lot of jobs, but we'd miss out as the states couldn't tax it to reap the benefits of pornography.  sorry, but we're talking about a billion dollar industry here, that would have huge financial ramifications on our world if it suddenly was deemed illegal.  therefore, it wouldn't be such a good idea.  my advice to you, is just don't watch it.  or visit sites that your unfamiliar with.  this way, you'll avoid porn all together.

yes but then you get into topics like freedom of speech, freedom of expression, free market, and whole host of different people stating it's their right. And in a sense they are right, I mean I don't like such sites but where does it stop. First adult sites, then what once you start to sensor one thing then other things, could follow. Like dating sites because of preditors comes to mind. And I am sure there are plenty more that could be targeted. Don't get me wrong I agree with you but it wouldn't stop there.

Prohibition, anyone? I heard that worked REALLY well......

And yes, it shouldn't be available to our children...and our job as parents is to make sure it's not available, that's not up to the government.

That's the problem with some people. They would rather have everything they disagree with banned so that they don't have to be adult, or responsible enough to raise their children or live their lives right.

I for one dont have much use for porn. Don't really care. Do  I want it banned? Why would I? That's stupid.

Same for people who want to keep gay marriage banned. I mean really? Like you're going to be living with these people. Live your own life and mind your own business. Why can't others go by that way of life? geesh.
