Why people tell lie even truth is best to tell....?

   I wonder sometime when people avoid telling truth and speak wrong tales... Why people do that.. is it nature or what ?

      people also lie for self preservation and they dont want to hurt the other persons feelings, at times the more they love the person the more they lie big to them (the case is different with a consistent liar)

      I think it depends on the situation.  Some common reasons people lie include to protect someones feelings or to protect themselves from embarassment (like keeping up appearances).  I honestly feel that some people really can not help themselves when it comes to lying (they are just compulsive liars that wouldn't know the truth if it sat on their laps with a big sign).  However, most people lie on purpose for their own self interest.
