   what are the causes of anaemia?..........is there any connection between anaemia and blood poisoning??

      anemia is most common disease among females
      the different types of anemia are:
      1)Iron deficiency anemia
      2)Vit-B12 deficiency anemia
      3)Cooley's anemia or Thalasemia
      4)Haemolytic anemia
      5)Aplastic anemia
      6)Sickle cell anemia
      
      Almost all of these are hereditary congenital or idiopathic disorders. But iron deficiency anemia, Vit-B12 and Haemolytic anemias can be either congenital or developmental.
      -iron deficiency anemia is due defective iron in nutrition or inability to absorb iron from food.Menstruating women need more iron than normal levels(normal-1milli gram/day)
      
      -Vitanin B12 deficiency anemia is due to inability to absorb VitB12.This is due to intrinsic factor deficiency. VitB12 requires a carrier protein for its absorption which is absent or fails to transport vitamin in these patients
      
      -Cooleys anemia or Thalassemia is a recessive autosomal triat caused due to defective synthesis of Hemoglobin chains(alpha or beta) according to which it is called as Thalasemia minor and major. As the name implies minor is not dreadful and treatment is often not necessary where as major is very dreadful but is very rare.
      
      -Haemolytic anemia occurs due to premature destruction of red blood cells and there are vast number of reasons for this destruction of RBC's. It may due to Hyper splenic activity, toxins, drugs, poisonings,development of anti bodies against RBC's etc.
      
      -Aplastic anemia is very dreadful disease and very very rare. In this disease bone marrow fails to produce the blood cells and the narrow is replaced by fat tissue
      
      -Sickle cell anemia is occurrence of sickle shaped RBC's in blood. It occurs due to replacement of a Nitrogen base in the DNA sequence. A single nitrogen base changes the fate of RBC's. This is an autosomal dominant disease.
      
      Other than these bleeding disorders, severe bleeding during menstrual cycle or pregnancy, heavy blood loss during accidents,trauma etc also cause anemia.But this is a temporary anemia and can be replaced easily when responded quickly whereas the above mentioned anemias are long term sustaining anemias and needs specific care and treatment.
      
      So there may be a result of anemia due to use of drugs,benzene, tetracyclines(tetracyclines supress bone marrow) and may result in anemia.

   Anemia can have many causes. Heavy monthly bleeding can cause it for women. Are you getting enough iron in your diet?

      A diet that does not have enough iron in it may lead to anemia, surgery or accident or any other reason  for huge blood loss may cause you to be anemic. It is a reversible condition , a good diet rich in iron , like beets ,pomegranates , turnips etc will set it right

         You are right but there are certain anemias that are hereditary and are absolutely irreversible like aplastic anemia. Though its very rare its not reversible at all.

   Pregnancy can cause anemia-a diet low in iron-a doctor can prescribe iron pills if needed.

   There are so many causes of it, the best place to see a few lists would be a medical reference site.
   
   I knew a little girl who had to have her spleen out at six because it ran in their family, and removing the spleen was the way it was dealt with.  A lot of them in that family had their spleen removed.
   
   The wrong diet can cause it.
   
   Internal bleeding can cause it in some cases.
   
   Even without having to have their spleen removed, some people can have a tendency to develop it more than others.
   
   "Blood poisoning" is an infection.  Anemia isn't really a disease.  It's a condition.  It can be a symptom of something else.

   Are you new to be being anemic? If so there is a reason behind it.
   Hemorrhageing- bleeding
   Hemolysis- the destruction of red blood cells
   Under production of red blood cells- lack of iron, bowel problems,not enough iron ie.cabbage,zinc, green veggies, red meat.
   Not enough Hemoglobin- a protein cell in the blood which carries oxygen.
   Are you tired, lethargic, lack of energy. Are you taking medication? Have you been injured recently?
   Time to go the doctors for a red blood count- don't wait.
