Body Piercings - How many are too many?

   How many piercings can the human body stand? Will too much metal metal in your body affect blood circulation or something?
   
   Are there any long term side effects?

      Are you talking about permanent or temporary piercings? 
      
      The world record for temporary piercings is now about 1200.  And for permanent it's several hundred.
      
      BTW, body piercings are done in the skin, not through limbs or organs, so they don't effect blood circulation.  Unlike gunshot wounds....

         Wow 1200 and several hundreds? How can someone stand all that. I think they just do it for breaking the records purposes no other reasons.
         
         I get your point Relache just wondering what if someone changes their mind and wants their skin back is there any kind of reconstructive surgery or something to heal the piercings?

            I don't know how several hundred piercings effects the skin, but I had a corset piercing down my back and when I had it removed, the skin just healed right over the small punctures.  I have a few tiny little scars that I've been told can hardly be seen.  I would imagine that even with so many piercings once they are removed, the skin heals just like it would from any other wound.

   I currently have six piercings, not including my ears.  Ten in total if you include the ears.   I had a corset piercing down my back about three years ago, but I found it impossible to live with so I had it removed.

      Aww! That first picture is tooooo many! And that hurts as well. For most ladies today, I think 3-4 piercings - 2 pairs on the ears and 1 on the belly, or maybe the additional will be on the nose or another one on the ear - is just okay but more than that can consider too many already.
