      Yes I noticed the date. I just thought it might interest someone that there was such a survey. I love information old or new and if it is old, then it is not as reliable as if it were new. Thanks for the comments.

         My baby is sick and it's 5.22am here. So I've been up all night anyway with a crying baby, while hubby sleeps (tried to wake him and he wasn't interested in baby duty!)
         
         So I'm hopping on while I wait for crankybum to sleep. LoL

   All  my research is focussed on product hubs but consistently the high rankers are HubPages and Squidoo, then ezine. I have also seen quite a few associated content - although I see that as encouragement to go for that keyword as I will probably do well.

   This article is interesting, but does nothing to address the size of the sites.  For instance blogger might appear a lot of the time, but that is because there are millions of spam filled blogs out there, hell I own some of them.  The shere volume of blogger increases the canches, not of the quality of rankings, but that there is more chance of it appearing for a vastly minute sample of 60,000 keywords.
   
   Same goes to eZine, although they do tend to be of a higher quality.  But again, because this site is so heavily filled with articles, you have to beat a huge amount of internal competition to even think about competing for external competition.
   
   While this survey reflects technically accurate date, it does not look as though it has been professionally analysed for results.

   Ezine is well respected, and proven to bring traffic. I've never used it, but this is not the first article I've seen that says this. I believe that part.
   
   As for blogger blogs, well, I've always heard just the opposite. Some of my blogs do pretty well, but they've been around about three years, and I also have domain names, don't use the blogspot domain. In my experience, it takes awhile for any blog to make it to the top 10 unless you have unique keywords.
