I visited El Salvador sometime ago and my uncle who is 60 years old has had the same 1955 Chevy truck since the 60's, so I was amazed because I have to think about how many cars I've had since my 1978 Toyota.

Well I've had a toyota 88, nisan 82, celica 90, mercury 94, nisan truck 01, and my last one Dodge charger 07

six total so far.  I blew the engine on two the nisan 82 and celica 90 ooops

    How amny have you had??

I have been driving since Nov 1995 when I was given my first car by my mum. It was a Citroen AX which I had for a number of years until finally my husband wore it out.  Since then I have had Skoda's, first the Felica and then two Fabia Estates (great cars).

I guess that makes a total of 4 cars in 15 years.

4 cars in 15 years not bad. I guess it's fairly easy to replace them here in the US rather than repair them.

Yes, although I am in the UK, but the same applies.

I'm too old to remember them all, but there was a Camaro and a little Triumph there, an El Dorado and some motorcycles and some pickup trucks too.

Wow a lot of cars, how long did you have them? I guess you didn't have a bond with them hehe or maybe with a few?

Most of them I only had a year. I would buy them new, then trade them in a year or so later for another new one.

Some of them were just cheapo ones too that I wanted to try. Looking back now I see I spent so much money on interest rates with all those year old vehicles. Young and dumb. hmm

I forgot, I had company cars and trucks too, Lincolns and Fords when I was an Oil Field Superintendent. So I didn't need to buy many during those years, except for one I just remembered, a Vega Wagon the wife wanted, ugly little green piece of shyt.

    Here's my list.

Chevy Chevette. My first car. With a Sunroof! (Blue)
Dodge Shadow. 1993. I drove it for 12 years.  (Red)
Chevy Cavalier. 2002. My current baby. Love!  (silver)

I didn't get a driver's liscense until I was in my late 20's, and, to this day, I still can't drive a stick. It's automatic or nothing!

The first car I drove was a Lincoln Towncar. My friend was letting me drive it down dirt roads, and roads that had very little traffic. But, he was always worried I would get in an accident. Well, one night he went out drinking with his work buddies, and came back with the whole passenger side of his car dented in. he just looked at me and said. "don't say a word!"

That was in 1988, which would have made me 23 years old.

I love driving my car. That's true freedom!
