I promote to Twitter, Stumbleupon, blogger, facebook, myspace and pingomatic.  Where else can I promote my website and Hubs?

I've got a couple Hubs on the topic.

The short answer? - Anywhere in which you have a trusted/respected presence and which has an audience that would be interested in the respective Hub.

I always try to imagine where the target audience hangs out, then go there.  Personally, I have too wide a range of topics here and elsewhere to try to do that effectively.  The best thing is to stay focused and be a regular contributor at the types of sites that you mentioned.

I have always used classified sites to increase traffic for my hubs.
There are thousands to choose from and i am putting a list of every place where to place your information to bring in more traffic for your business or hubs.
Make a video about your hubs. place it on youtube and other media sites.
Join groups that will let you post your links to your hubs as well to get to know thousands of people all across the world. tell your new friends about your hubs and see if they will refer your hubs to others.
use skype to tell people about your hubs.
use webinars to tell people about your hubs.
use directories to let people know about your hubs.
use business networks to let people know aboutyour hubs like xing.com
use networking netowrks to let people know about your hubs like swom.com
This is just a few out of millions to work with

My own advice is not to bother.  You will find many forum threads about this; some promote heavily while many other very successful hubbers do little to no promotion.

I have only recently posted one backlink per hub on Xomba (the project is still not finished) and have received a very few views from Xomba.  I will probably continue the project; Xomba will accept articles as well as backlinks and offers adsense income as well, but I do not really expect much from it.

Other than this I have posted RSS feeds on several sites proposed by Sunforged, but that is all.  The result of my failure to promote has been 20,000 views in just over 4 months of writing.  The first 10,000 took until the first part of Sept., the second 10,00 until now.

In my opinion you are far ahead to spend your time studying SEO and keyword techniques and writing new hubs than you are promoting.
