Google TOS Relating To My Hub Restructuring

   I'm needing the opinion of anyone who may have more experience and knowledge of how to word things in relation to the Google TOS rule of not being allowed to tell people to click on ads.

   On this hub I changed the beginning to mildly say in so many words that if you are looking for this then around you are places you can find it. Since I switched the wording I have actually had a click rate of 5.26% whereas in the past it was below 1% so perhaps it's the change that has had this affect.Now if I could only get more traffic there,lol!
   
   With so many people being aware of the ads and their purpose why not be blatantly funny about it I figured.
   
   I remember one of the few times when I was driving truck that I actually got out of a ticket and it was from being bold and brassy with the officer by just immediately telling him to pick something and write me a ticket.He was so amused by my brassiness he didn't give me any.Same mindset here slightly.

      Hmmmm, I don't think highly of getting money through ethically suspect methods, but I can sure surmise a few ways to encourage users to click on ads, without falling in violation of the terms. You have to be clever enough to make implicit overtures, where no one could really accuse you of anything, because it is done in such a seemingly heartfelt way, with good intentions. Imagine that you are naive, and the ads are not on your mind at all, but the service in the ads is something you can urge a quick touchey feeley decision on through circuitous wording and just perfect, obscurely veiled allusions.
      
      Haha. I guess it's the lawyer-mentality in me that sees it happening while I pose the dare to question that there's anything wrong or untoward. Basically, you just have to read the terms of services and do it in a way that is effective and nowhere close to breaking the "rules."
      
      Of course, telling people to click on ads one way or the other seems one step higher than registering inauthentic clicks, by devising a racket to generate phantom clicks that google cannot detect, even with all its high tech monitoring for click fraud. To each their own and good luck.

         Thanks for the input Sullen91. I already changed it slightly and just left it to say "Take a look around you" which implies nothing in the sense of encouraging clicks yet does imply to look all around the page,lol.

   IMO, the text on your hub reads as if you are intentionally directing users towards Adsense ads, a big no-no, whichever way you word it*.  Of course the decision to gamble with your Adsense account, or not, is yours to make.
   
   *Although this would probably be an acceptable practice if your hub only contained Amazon/eBay/Affiliate ads.
   
   Perhaps applying to join their affiliate program would be a better option: http://www.teva.com/affiliates/affiliates.aspx 10% commissions and you can be as direct/shameless as you like when trying to make a sale through your affiliate link.

      Hey Mr. Voodoo thanx for the affiliate link there. I've got several affilaite links on my hubs already hid in the text that have done me no good as of yet,but if accepted why not throw in another.
      
      I think my wording doesn't specifically point to google ads,but may be skirting that fine line. Thanks for the opinion.
