The question is why is it so slow moving up with its score? It has lots of comments!
A better question is how did you get 72 views in a day?! Seriously, I wish I had some idea. I'm new around here, but from what I've seen, the various ratings like to butt heads at times.
If it started at 44 it will go up very quickly.Apparently if you leave it unpublished for a week or so the score rises. I tried it and it really does work. 72 views and comments as well all in a day just have to increase your score very quickly.
It's annoying for you, all the same.
Remember it is just a little robot at work
I get this sometimes, I think once I took a few days and it went up as high as 58 before it was published! I guess it shows to the Hubpages system that you have put quality time into it and I imagine it takes time for the system to pick up other details such as how many comments you get later on.
Im certainly no expert as i'm still learning but I have noticed that some of my hubs go down to 49/48 when first published for the first day then start to increase quite quickly.
That happened to me on some hubs as well. They are not increasing very quickly yet but that's probably for other reasons haha
wait a couple of days; it will hit 70 and I have 90 for you right now.
Im completely new to this crack.ive just posted my first hub yesterday .
Ive had 17 views, but i think they are all mine.
Mind you,my hub was on golf.lol
Posted my first hub 24 hours ago, got 110 views now and a score of 52. Have no idea what that means though, lol
How do people get around 100 views in their first day? Hard to believe they are from SE. Clicking the hub yourself is also counted as legitimate views as of this time. I've observed the number of views alone has little impact on the score, it is more about the content along with some other mysterious factors. I've got a hub with 0 comments but great content (at least in my mind) and it has the highest score of 91 at this moment (been between 80 and 91), yet couple of others that have been getting more views than some others rarely surpass 70, few that may not even have one view in a day sometimes sit at 79
Snakebaby, one of my highest earning Hubs and a consistently high score only has two comments on it. So my experience reflects yours.
It's all about promoting your Hub. I wrote a hub regarding certain aspects of a video game, and posted it on the specific game forum. Out of 110 views 71 of the views were redirected from the forum. Only 6 of the total views were from google.
I have an unpublished hub with around 50 words that scores 65-75 all the time
Hubscore depends on:
quality
number of your hair
traffic
uniqueness
your pet's birthday
length
the ph of your urine
feedback
voting
the last movie you disliked
comments
internal linking
color of your bathroom tiles
inbound links from hp and other sites
hubbers reputation
your track record in school
credibility of using capsules
And bla bla bla........... Nothing mysterious works behind it at all
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! I'm getting some strange looks from my little one who is wondering why mommy is laughing at the computer LOL
Thank you for explaining that so well!
oh, i forget to add a very important one, "strange looks of your youngest childd" in the list.
convey my love to your kiddy. kisses
Wow. You had 72 views? That's great. The score should go up during the next few days to a week. I've had Hubs which I wrote with more than 600 words -- even more -- and they dipped in ratings and then climbed up.

Sometimes when I have ideas for hubs, I "start a hub" and sometimes finish it later or just let it sit there for a while. Maybe I should just write down my hub ideas instead. Does it hurt my hub scores or overall hubber score to have those unfinished hubs (often with just titles) sitting...

I know that our own views are counted on the stats page but I have not opened this hub to edit it today and yet I can see that I have had four visits!

I am presently putting together an article that is not published, obviously. But, I already have a Hub Score showing for it. Any ideas how this can be? Doesn't seem fair does it?I mean how can you score an incomplete article that has not been published yet and a low score to boot? Lower than any...

I've been working on a new Hub on and off for the past several days, but haven't published it yet. When I go into the "My Account" menu it shows that this Hub has 23 views, which I found rather odd.How can an unpublished Hub have 23 views already? Is it counting the number of times I've...

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery. What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?

Okay, I'm one of those who can talk about nothing else but HubPages, have written about it, tell all my friends about it, and my family is so tired of hearing about HubPages they are over it.Well today, my most popular hub that has ranked 100 numerous times, has been rated useful by no less than...
