that makes approx 50 page views per day...not bad as a start...slowly it would get better with time...
Thats good for only being here for 3 weeks I would say.
You're doing fine, Don.
Are you writing simply to impart your knowledge or to make a bit of cash?
If it's money you're looking for, try to weave some interlocking commercial applications or products into your hubs. That will attract better Google ads.
Study a few of HubPages hubbers who write hubs for Amazon products. They are the best I've seen.
Good luck
In my opinion it is a good start. All the best to the plan as in your profile.
Are you talking about one hub? I think 1000 page views in 3 weeks is not bad. One of my hubs published 5 weeks ago has 536 page views "ever" so 1000 is not bad. All the best!
You've got some lofty goals, but at the rate you've been building it's possible.
Where are your views coming from? Are they all from hubpages? If so they are a share of your own views of your hubs and other hubbers visiting because the hub is new OR they saw you in the forums and wanted to check you out.
On the other hand if they're external views (yahoo, google, bing) then that is good. But don't get too worried - it takes time for search engines to pick you up. And the search engine views are where the money is.
Many of your recent hub titles are not search engine friendly. They're not what people type into search engines. You could try adding "Kids science experiement" or something to the front and I'm sure you'd see quite an improvement. :-)
It's a good start. No matter where the traffic is coming from. I'm sure, if your hubs are getting that much attention from HubPages members, then there might be a good chance you'll get more traffic from Google as time goes on.
Keep up doing what you are doing. Congrats!
It's an excellent start. Congratulations. It takes time to build traffic but thats good starting platform.
Thanks for asking the question as I have the same. I think we are average.. but average is never good enough. But as many comments from here say you are up to a good start.. then that goes for me too. Best of luck!
Have a nice day!
Rosie
This forum thread made me stop and think. I wanted to see what percentage of my hubs had not yet received 1000 total pageviews. I'm shocked. I have a lot of work to do. Thanks for the wake-up call.
Wow Don I'm really impressed and as a science geek I like reading your hubs.

I am experiencing an overall average off 66 percent less page views per day, for seven days versus a week previous and for the past two months. Such a huge drop in page views makes me think that Google has tuned up something again. I do know that I don't have the time and energy to keep...

Is anyone else seeing a strange spike today? I've been getting less than 10 page views per day lately, but it's over 500 today and still rising. The source is undetectable using Analytics, Webmaster Tools, or HubPages Sources. I'm still getting 0 from Google and less than 20 from HubPages.What's...

Today I woke to a pleasant surprise. After I login to HubPages, I checked my statistic. I just crossed 50K page views per day today! Wow!! What a pleasant surprise!!! In the past 30-days, I had 33,250 page views per day, and in last week average touching 41,385 page views...

I hear people talking all the time about hubs that produce good readership, but I know this number differs for many. In your case, how many views per month do you think is good for any given article? Just curious.

I joined HubPages just over a week ago, and I have achieved over 200 views. Keeping in mind I have no SEO knowledge whatsoever, and hardly know about keywords, I think this is pretty good, but i may be wrong...Can anyone help me figure this out?
