Be creative and take the story where ever you want. Be funny or mean, whatever, I want to hear a story about a character made up by everyone. Going on a journey or doing something. The name of the character is Mikey.
1 sentence at a time I'll start it
Mikey quickly takes his clothes off and runs outside.
His mother pelted down the path after him, waving his pants and hollering in a high pitched, nasal voice, "Mikey you put these on this instant!"
Mikey laughed as he ran...he was finally free....running like the wind down the path....
But just as Mikey thought he was free, he looked ahead and came to a standstill, staring in horror down the path.
Scarcely able to believe his eyes, Mikey was confronted by several neighborhood girls and boys dressed in Fruit of the Loom costumes, laughing hysterically at his little pecker.
The obsene gestures only made the girls laugh more, quickly looking for an escape he notices a horse.
As he sees the horse he realizes what the girls were laughing at.
--stunning since the horse was female then Mikey climbed up on the horse and yelled, "Giddy-up!"
After his 'exciting pony ride', Mikey ran back to tell his mom (his eyes glazed over) the exciting news.
Oh Mom, I had such a fun time on the pony ride, but now I'm so hungry.
And his mum replied 'so call for take out' which meant Mikey ...
It was a brutal 2 hour voyage to #1 Wok and tired the pony (in a car it would take 10 minutes), only to realize he forgot his wallet and was not given the food.
"Wahhhh!" cried Mikey, in his best manipulative voice, "I'm sooo hungry!"
'I'm Hank Marvin! So starving! I could eat a horse! If I don't get food soon I'm going to die of starvation!' cried Mikey.
Mikey rode back home to get his wallet, but when he got there his mommy had made his favorite supper. "Spaghetti and meatballs," Mikey yelled loudly, "Yippee!"
She was holding his secret lucky pair of Larry the Cable Guy boxers.
His face turned beet red as he noticed the brown streak marks across the front.
Mikey is reincarnated as a car alarm, annoying everyone even more than he had in his previous life.
will i kill him again??
being annoyed he choose to suicide and didn't move away from the track of the car but suddenly a beautiful young lady rushed towards him and.....

Is it more important to develop characters first and then write a story around them or vice versa?

Each person writes a sentence, and the next person creates the next sentence of the story.I will start it with:There once was a ferret, who lived in a tree.

I will start and if others add to it we may have a story by Halloween. I had to get up pretty eerie in the morning to think of this one . I sit out on the steps and look into the gray sky. The sun is a silver circle. Its flame has been cooled by the autumn air. The wind picks up...
