MASH finale in the early 80s.  After eleven years it became a mainstay part of many American homes.  The finale was like a son or daughter moving away to college.

Yup, the comedy Blackadder had me in stitches with every single episode they did, and I fell in love with the characters. On the last ever episode, in the last few minutes I went from laughing my ass off to melting into a puddle of tears, it was one of the most moving and profound moments in TV history as far as I am concerned.

I'm with you there.  Every school kid should watch it, best way to keep the war respect alive imo.

I haven't personally, but I taped a show once (back in the video cassette days) and ended up throwing the cassette at a Squirrel that I saw stashing food into a tree... I was really surprised how much they cry when they get hit in the nuts by Johnny Carsons! roll

extreme makeover is pretty heartfelt. They usually find a family that has suffered greatly. And kids.

Some are awful enough to have moved me to tears...especially many a pilot show.

Yes.  Currently I like Without A Trace.  Anthony LaPaglia is a really good actor.  The endings, and when they get into the lives of the agents and victims is often moving.  Great nighttime drama.

    I cry at commercials too!

Celebrity Rehab and Biggest Loser have me in tears almost every episode.  I'm a sucker for people with sad stories.

I also cried the other day with Mindy Cohen (Natalie from Facts of Life) was on 'What not to wear"...

I cried for the whole hour, but my wife refused to change the station

Awww poor Natalie!  I'm glad I didn't see that.  I would have been sad all day.
