I was browsing through hubpages to Increase my HubKarma a little bit and I stopped on Profile with 6 Hubs, 9 followers, joined 3 years ago and received 100k views without a single bit of Hubtivity.

Here is the link of his/her profile ... If you want to learn something from his/her articles.

I would guess that he/she is no longer active on hubpages, but still has a live account.

    Hi Itech,

I don't know. I have visited your link and have the expression of ... something not alive ... There is no life in this profile, don't you think so? Yes, there were many visitors one day, hmmm. I simply don't know. ... ::-|

Ya Jantamaya, This writer didn't participated much on hubpages and If I'm true then not also outside hubpages. So, question arises is "How did he/she done so?" - The only answer that I get is the "Quality of articles he/she written" - Therefore, I recommended you to go through articles written by this author.

I never seen anyone succeeded in receiving 100k views with just 9 Hubs.

And there is one more point to note - If we Delete any Hub, then, Number of Views received by that 'deleted page' is also deducted from our total Page-views.

      Now, Conclude Yourself.

That is not so if... other hubs were deleted after a 100k accolade was allocated to the profile and the account remains active.

If you were thinking about linking to them... then clearly you consider your own hubs relevant to theirs? hmm

Besides... that is only 300 views per month per hub, which is not so outstanding with good seo presence. hmm

Good Conclusion hmm But I Mostly link to 'My Hubs' or 'Community Pages' and rarely to that which are written by others Until they have some new or useful information.

It may be dead but his hub "How to Cite Websites" is #1 in Google.

Maybe this is why the account is still active smile

That is the thing with passive income. Once you have an article up you don't even need to visit the site again if you don't want to.

The yahoo links show hubpages has about 28 internal links via their book section and 4 other hubs which show the hub in similar which may explain its popularity.Bit I agree after 3 years, with such popular titles used in colleges, it not to difficult for 300 per hub.

As long as theres a hubscore over 75 it remains live. But yes it is a little plain hey.

I looked at the profile also.

I still think it's important to put time into creating a decent profile. I think it shows pride in who you are and your work.  Also, that member was here for three full years.  I can understand the 100,00 point.

The author wrote articles people would be searching for.  Still, thanks for sharing.
