Great news is I made $.41. The bad news is I'm not sure how. I was trying to figure out if it was from hubpages or not. I have URL/Channels on my adsense accounts, but nothing is showing up on the reports. I think it would have said if it was one of my other websites as they all have the channel codes built into the adsense code.
But if it was from hubpages, is there anyway to find out which hub it came from?
Call a psychic reader and give the clairvoyant the URL for your profile page. No, seriously, you need to set up custom AdSense channels for each of your hubs and/or to sign up for Google Analytics and integrate that with your AdSense and HubPages accounts.
I have Google Analytics set up too, I'm not sure the integration part is working though. I may have been looking in the wrong place, on adSense instead of Analytics. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. (And if the psychic gives me winning lottery numbers, you want to go in half/half on the ticket?)
Darrke Thoughts, I'm with you all the way - to the bitter end.
if you got everthing on for analytics, custom channel etc.I think you might be looking for someone to trace it for you, maybe someone who knows better about managing computer system and software.A computer geek maybe!
I definitely need a computer geek! Try as hard as I can to sign up for analytics, I can't ever seem to get past that video demo page. I have adsense and would really like getting analytics. Can anyone help me in a simple step A, followed by step B and C method? I have watched that demo video so often that I could probably recite it in my sleep!
Peggy, I think you explained yourself better over there. I was just about to offer you assistance, but then I read your post on the other tread and understood the problem may be more technical than first assumed:
http://hubpages.com/forum/post/1443807
Any ideas how to get past that demo tape and proceed with the sign up for analytics? I can easily see which of my hubs is receiving more traffic but it would be helpful to know which ones are actually earning the most money which is ( I assume ) the value of having analytics.
You could try different browsers, see if they load the sign-up page differently. Like Firefox or Chrome.
If I were you, I would head over to see if there is a linking option from within your AdSense account - that is, skip the HubPages page and go straight via the AdSense sign-in page.
Under all circumstances, you will need an Analytics account, which you can also set up directly via the Google Analytics sign-up page (unless you get there via your AdSense account).
Otherwise, it may be time for you to contact HubPages directly.
Thank you for this prompt response. I will try what you suggest and see if I get better results.
You are welcome. Feel free to contact me if you think I can help.
