Hub Scores, karma, and blog scores

   I might have missed the information session and articles or just not too technologically advanced because I can't seem to find how Hub Scores, Blog/ Article Scores, User Scores or Karma are calculated, and what they really mean.
   
   Can someone please help me out here? Thank you!

            As to money, pretty much none.
            
            However, those activities you engage in to increase money amazing seem to also positively affect scores.

   Paradigm is right -- they are fairly meaningless in the grand scheme of things. If your a hub has a high score or if your author score is 100, you stand a better chance of someday maybe being featured on HP's homepage for a while, but that's about it. And HubKarma is absolutely and totally meaningless.

   You can increase your Hub Karma by linking to other hubbers, posting on forums, answering questions, commenting on other peoples hubs and participating on the hub pages website.
   
   Your hub score will change depending on traffic.
   
   From a Hub Pages point of view they want you to bring traffic in externally to improve their website, so if 75% (for example) of your traffic is from external sources you will have a very high hub score. If you get continual traffic, your hub score will increase. If you hub is only viewed for 2 weeks and then the traffic drops so will your hub score. Basically more traffic = higher hub score.
   
   It is true that it is Hub Pages secret but remember - they want you to bring traffic in from external sources.
   
   I personally get 90% of my traffic from external sources, my hubs with the highest scores are the ones that bring that traffic in.

      Why has adding more links from my hubs to other hubs and topics pages brought my hub Karma down from 88 to 72?

         Because you've drawn the mistaken conclusion that it's the quantity of links is what causes HubKarma to go up.

   I have this hub that goes to 94, then 86, then 94, then 86, then 94…. A curiosity indeed...
