It is pretty baffling to me watching pharmaceutical commercials with a lengthy warnings about how potentially dangerous the featured drug is. Yet medical doctors all over the country will prescribe them to anyone asking. Diarrhea, vomiting, hair loss, depression, dry mouth, blurred vision, heart arrhythmia, impotence and DEATH. Wow, why would anyone choose to risk their lives when there is other options for treatment out there? I would like to hear about your opinion.

If I take a drug prescribed by my physician as prescribed, I feel I'm benefitting my health.

Physicians get a kick back on drugs, so I don't trust them just because they are supposed to be the experts.  They got little to no training in nutrition.  In my opinion, if we eat right and get the proper exercise, that is all the "medicine" we will typically need.  But your doctor won't tell you that for the simple reason that he doesn't know or believe that.  When exposed to "bugs" we can take Colloidal Silver, as a preventative or to combat illness.  It makes absolutely no sense to me to put more toxins into an already toxic body.   And it makes me really sad that people don't realize there are better alternatives out there.

The cheapest fix for migraines is by far Kava Kava root or Valerian root herbs. Kava kava taken in a tea or juice as a liquid tincture takes effect in 10 mins or less. Valerian root taken as a capsule does so in the same time frame. I have been prescribing this herbal cure for clients on liveperson.com for many years with total success. We here in my family also use it and we do not use synthetic medicines at all.

Heart Life, I hardly ever get sick, but I take medicine if I need it. I agree with you about all the bad side effects in some of the medicines. We all need to consider other treatment options.

I hate medications and all drugs for this very reason.  I just don't understand why doctors are so quick to just pump poisons into their patients.  I think it might have something to do with drug companies having a huge amount of influence over the government for tax reasons. GPs of course do whatever the governments wants!

But I hate drugs, they hide symptoms and don't treat the underlying course of them.  Rather like sticking a plaster on a foot that's been chopped off.  Totally useless.

Vomiting, seizures, "sometimes fatal" liver problems, and/or "suicidal tendencies" are three side-effects I find particularly unappealing.   lol

My medicine cabinet contains a small bottle of aspirin (sorry, I just trust it because it's been around for ages), a small bottle of Ibuprofen (in case anyone ever needs it), and a small bottle of Acetamenophen (in case anyone prefers that).  Other than that, the only other medicine in there is a small bottle of antacid tablets in case any ever asks if I have some.

I hope I remain fortunate enough (for as long as possible) to have only things that are manageable with non-medication and/or natural approaches.  (Besides, there's kind of a part of me that would rather just die than be vomiting or having seizures!  lol  Maybe that's just me.  smile  )

A good cup of tea and lots of inexpensive, non-medicated, cough drops can do wonders.
