I just put my hubs into 3 groups on my account page and it works there, but the groups do not show up on my Profile page.  Is it only viewible to others? Or did I have to do something different on mt profile page to make them show up?

Your groups do not show up on your profile page, just Hubpages categories.

Hub groups have nothing to do with the hubs displayed on your profile page. The profile page groups appear on their own according to category - usually after 15 total hubs on that account but this number may have changed.

Groups are a way to easily navigate between your hubs, both on your account page and using the arrows at the bottom of your hub, just above the comment box.

Okay. Is there a way for me to change my hubs' category to make them more specific.  I want to brake them down more, I think I have been too general.

Yes, you can.  Edit your Hub.  On the right, choose Settings.

        ----
        Hub Settings

            * Category: If you would like to change the way this Hub is categorized, just click on the current categorization. You'll have the opportunity to recategorize your Hub in a pop-up window.

Okay, I am going to risk sounding dumb here, but where exactly do you find "HUB SETTINGS"

Those categories on profiles (the favorite category ones) are put there by hubpages, not us. they are just the common categories you use when making hubs. After you have a few hubs going, HP starts posting your favorites on your page. The groups you breate are just a way to link like hubs of yours at the bottom of your hubs. The categories you pick when making a hub help hubbers and readers find your hub when they are looking for certain subjects. None of that will ever show up on your profile. If you want certain hubs to be visible on your profile page, you can put alink to it in the profile section.

Oh, so they do it.  I wonder why they haven't done anything with my stuff yet? I have 23 hubs now.  I have seen other profiles with their favorites up after only having 15 up.

Just go to My Account and click Groups in the black box. Two boxes will pop up. In the top box, you can create, edit or delete group names. In the bottom box, you can click and drag to assign hubs to groups.

Well from what I just glanced through, looks like all of your hubs are about the same stuff-haircare. If all of your hubs fall under the fashion and beauty category, then you don't really have any "favorite topics" for them to post. Its just one topic. They do that when hubbers write under several different categories. If you will be sticking to the same topics all the time (which is great, don't get me wrong-I wouldn't go adding a bunch of other stuff just to get the favorite topics thing) then you aren't likely to see those favorites on your profile.
