Flagging Another's Hub or Hubber Profile

   What constitutes the necessity of flagging a Hubber Profile or another Hubber's Hub? And before anyone points me in the direction of the Learning Centre, it's okay, I've read the vague description.
   
   With the growing concern of the big money earners on HubPages that the new Google Algorithm is effecting our own traffic I am curious to know what content should be flagged.

      That's a big question Karanda, and I doubt if any of us really know what Hubpgaes wants rid off and what they don't.
      
      In general, though, anything that is just a single paragraph with a link to another site could be considered "written primarily to promote another site". Violation.
      
      Anything spun and unreadable. In fact, if you trip over the words when even skim reading it is probably spun. Flag it.
      
      Anything plagiarised from other sites. You can grab a protion of text form the middle of the hub and put in a google search and see if anything duplicate comes up.
      
      Anything that breaks the rules of TOS - alcohol, sex, gambling etc
      
      Hubs that are very short. Under 200/300 words of nothing much.
      
      Could go on, but that's a rough outline.
      
      Hubstaff know more about what is acceptable and what isn't.
      
      but you know, flagging something does NOT mean its automatic removal. It only brings it to hubstaff attention and its their call.

            Yeah I would flag that too, but am not sure on HP stance on this. I suppose it depends on how bad it is, if it is actually readable or not. Again its a staff call.

               Thanks Izzy, I guess we owe it to the HubPages site as a whole to leave it in the hands of 'those who know best' and flag anything we feel doesn't come up to standard.

                  That's about it, yes. I do think it is really important that we actually flag and don't just rate down poor hubs as some people seem to have done.
                  
                  I don't have any issue with anyone who writes a decent sized hub even if they are not the best writers in the world, or their subject matter bores me to death.
                  Someone out there might find it extremely useful and that is what we are all about really.
                  
                  Oh and I never flag poetry, even when really short.
                  Poetry is allowed so long as it is categorised correctly.
                  
                  Picture hubs I'm not so sure about. Indian aunties I flag but don't know if they are acceptable or not.
                  
                  Anyone know?

                     From what I understand, picture hubs are okay -- even the Indian aunties as long as they don't show naked body parts. But that's ONLY if they're correctly categorized. There is a category out there for it, but I just don't remember what it is.

   I would flag the profile of a spammer, one who has a profile with no hubs but spamming all over the forums and the Answer section. Anyone with explicit adult content would also be a candidate. I always write a note in case of doubt.
   Poor English and or poor quality hubs can also be flagged for review but I generally vote them down unless they are pathetic.
