    Hello,
I believe that all sin occurs when we give into temptation. Every sin is a choice and we make your own choices
For example: I have stolen, lied, had permartial sex and I have a temper. All my sin started as temptation(ie seeing an outfit I wanted but didn't need, Wanting to make a better impression or make myself look good, or just wanting to be love and thinking sex was the only way to feel loved) and when I gave in I sinned. This goes for everything sin including homosexuality.
ALL sins are eqaul, but I think what causes so much debate and anger regarding sin especially homosexuality is we as the world have blurred the line so much that anything goes. I know stealing is wrong and a sin, but I don't go around an say I was born a thief, born a liar. I wasn't born that way and I have been able to stop those sinful ways. By choosing to forsake sin and live my life accoring to God's word.  Are we born killers, rapist, thief, liars, greedy and/or people love material things more than everything else or do we have circumstance that lead us into temptation then we choose or not choose to give in. That's does not mean I'm not tempted, I just refused to give in to those temptations. And it seems in order to justify ourselves we seem to devalued ourselves so we are lower than animals ie " Dogs do it", "I just can't control myself." or "My phyiscal or instant pleaseure beats all" Think about it.(A) Are you defined by your sin or are you (B)A Child of God who has sinned, and have been forgiven. I chose to be option B
God loves us, regardless of how far you may have gone astray into sin.  He has made all of us in his image and likeness (Genesis 1:26-27), and has a special plan for your life.  He offers forgiveness to you if you will forsake your sin, trust in Jesus Christ, and follow him.  Jesus paid the penalty for your sin (death) so that you can have peace with God.  When you turn away from your sin, God welcomes you back with open arms, just as the father welcomed the wayward son home (Luke 15:11-32).

You keep quoting from one book of hundreds that were all written by sexist men who worshiped a hateful entity who had childish fears and then punished mankind for them. You have no proof for anything that you say other than one of these books which tells you that women are nothing and that if you don't believe you die. How can you believe this tripe.

          spiderpam -

I am interested in your thought process here.

You have had a number of people tell you that your words are offensive and almost certain to drive people away from your religion (I must admit it is people like you that persuaded me your religion is garbage) yet you continue - saying they are not your words - you are just spreading the lord's love. There have even been a few religious people tell you much the same thing.

Why are you continuing to do that in the face of being told that you are upsetting others?

All unrenpentant sinners and non-believers will take offense to the word on God because it directly contradicts the life that want and have chosen to live. John 15 v18-27
As for the why you already know why but here it is again
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned."
            Much Love to ya

No thanks - you can keep your love.

Odd meaning of the word love.

Seems like hatred and bigotry to me.

What? That I reject your "love"?

Because it feels like judgmental bigotry.

And I notice you did not answer my question. Numerous people have become offended at the "love" you are sharing.

Do you even have an opinion of your own? Just because you have been a bad girl and have now magically forgiven yourself for being a liar, a thief and whatever else you feel it is OK to have done - but not being a homosexual.

You are judging people every time you tell them that being homosexual is a sin.

I pity you, but I also thank you. More proof that the christian religion is garbage.

So - thank you for reminding me.

Good luck with not judging anyone............

                    The World Hates the Disciples
18"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.'[a] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me. 22If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin. 23He who hates me hates my Father as well. 24If I had not done among them what no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. But now they have seen these miracles, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: 'They hated me without reason.'[b]
26"When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. 27And you also must testify, for you have been with me from the beginning.

"All this I have told you so that you will not go astray. 2They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God. 3They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. 4I have told you this, so that when the time comes you will remember that I warned you. I did not tell you this at first because I was with you.

Please stop trying to speak for all of us. I am not a sinner. Of course I do wrong things. We all do. But sin implies an offended God. I don't need either concept.

I'm speaking mainly for myself, but Romans 3:23 states "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"

That's why Jesus died for all of our sins.

One of my spiritual teachers told me after questioning me about a concept that there is a difference between parroting what I have read because I have absorbed the words, and speaking from understanding of my reading's deeper meaning.

Spiderpam - please stop parroting to us.

Again you speak without understanding what is said to you.

Speak all you like - however, I for one would like to know YOUR views, not the snippets of the Bible that you feel apply, but in your own words, from your own understanding, without the need for the copying of words from any other source.

When you can support your views not with Bible quotes or links to your cause-friendly websites, but your own words, then you may receive a bit more in-depth a response from the Hubpages populace.  As it sits, all you've received so far are questions which you have neglected to answer, and joking which you have (for obvious reasons) bypassed completely.

I don't feel bad about my sins. I can't really change how I feel. I guess I feel that they shouldn't really be sins? And the choices I make in my life shouldn't be considered equal to the horrific acts that are committed? I feel like I am defined by the good things I do in this world because my "sins" aren't really bad. I hope I will be known as the girl who helped others and made the world a better place, not the girl who had premarital sex, or wasn't baptized, or who curses occasionally, or has played quite a few hands of poker, or any of the other "sins" I have committed.

I think if I didn't sin I wouldn't be happy. I know that sounds bad. But I would be sexually frustrated and not a happy camper. On top of other things. I can't feel bad for things that make me happy. Don't judge me smile

Your question was "Love in the sinner hate the sin. Are you defined by your sin?" I answered that I believe I will not be "defined" or known by my "sins" but rather the good things I have and will do in my life to make the world a better place and improve the lives of others. You stated "There is little else to say other than if you would like to learn more about my faith, our God and Jesus christ I am happy to tell all that I have experienced and understand. " Realize that while you may believe in God and Jesus Christ, others may not, so it is not "our" God but your God and those who believe. It is one thing to ask a question and then explain what you have learned in your life, it is another thing to attempt to persuade others by quoting the bible and and using it's words to convince others what you believe.

"Without faith, hope and trust, there is no promise for the future, and without a promising future, life has no direction, no meaning and no justification.” Adlin Sinclair.

Well I have faith that the heart of life is good, I hope that I will be able to make the world a better place while I am here, and I trust that as long as I am a good person and am happy, I am serving my life's purpose. I know I have a future, direction, meaning, and justification in life and for life.
