Two of my hubs were unpublished my hubpages on Sunday and I send Hubpages team an email to know about the problem. I never heard back from the. Today is Tuesday. I understand Sunday was Easter so never expected an answer on that day. But two days later too there is no response. May be they are too busy to answer my email.

      Send another.
They can be busy, there could be a glitch in the e-mail, it might have gotten lost.
I always send, wait 24 hours and send again.

Although the moderators have publicly said that sending repeat emails about the same issue only takes up their time. I wouldn't recommend anyone to follow your advice.

9 times out of 10 it's the only way I get an answer.
Sometimes I even have to select one member of the HP team and e-mail them personally.
I look at it like this.
Don't un-publish more Hubs than you can respond to.
(Which I just saw is what Sunforged basically said as I was typing this...LOL)

      Sid

If you've had Hubs unpublished you should have received an email informing you of the violation.

Also if you go 'My Account' where your list of Hubs is and click on the hub in question (which should be highlighted in pink) there should be a message at the top telling you what the problem is i.e. 'Too Many Products', 'Overly Promotional' etc.

It should be possible from there for you to work out what the problem is.

I have recieve the message and it says my hub is substandard and has deceptive title and tags. I have no idea what does that mean.

      Hi Sid,

We are sorry for the delay, but trust me we are doing the best we can. big_smile It has been a very busy two months here and everyone is working overtime.  We have also been hiring moderators to help ease the workload on Maddie and Norah.

As for your Hub, Deceptive Title and Tags means that your Hub's content doesn't match your title and tags. Make sure that your title and tags are reflected in the text of your Hub; change them if they are not; and submit for republication.

We absolutely understand the frustration with all the changes, but our goal is to hold the site to a top standard which will be beneficial to our great Hubbers.  All the changes, although difficult right now, will make the site better and give us the best chance to grow traffic again.  Although it may seem as if we made these decisions without thought, that is not true.  We have been working on rolling out these updates for a while now; the Panda Update just pushed them out a little quicker than we were planning.  This week we will be posting in the HubPages Blog all of the changes that have been made to clarify for everyone.  We really value all of our Hubbers and want to continue to make HubPages the best place to write on the Web.  Thanks for your patience!

I sent an email recently, Saturday, April 16th with a problem I was having.  It was answered on Friday, April 22nd.  This might give you an indication of current turn-around times.

If my hubs are unpublished I should be given a reason. I send them an email but no answer. Am I asking for too much?

It is commonly known that it may take 3 business days, sometimes even longer. Ideally, the response would come within 24 hours, but the slow response time are well-documented.

This has never happened to me in the past so had no idea what commonly happened.

I'm afraid that is the way it works. Hopefully, you will get it resolved soon.

Who cares, you start thread after thread crying wolf, whats your problem, figure it out. Maybe they will respond... maybe they wont Try sending them an email every 5 minutes and see if that helps.hmm

I didnt commonly know any response time, and regardless of requests, if you feel you are experiencing slow communication  in ANY business or site dealings you should always follow up at your convenience and/or escalate the issue.

Thats the good part of being the customer/client when it comes to customer service. You make the rules.

That being said, even I would give them a break following the holiday weekend as the probably have a backlog.

But, that does beg the question, why are you unpublishing if you dont have THE MANPOWER TO REPUBLISH IN A TIMELY MANNER?

Thanks for your wishes. I am afraid I might have already written my my last hub here as Hubpages team are changing rules every week after the algo changes. I understand Hubpages to regain its lost ranking and traffic but they should sit down and decide on a set of new rules to improve the site instead of coming up with something new every week.
