Should I Remove Under performing Hubs?

   I just got back into creating Hubs and I notice I have about 5 of 10 not getting much performance at all.  I was wondering if it's advisable to just delete them, or try and revive two year old hubs.

      Take a look at the ones that are performing and the ones that aren't, and see if you can spot the difference.
      
      Then revise the non-performing Hubs to bring them into line.
      
      I had a peek at a few of your Hubs - they are on the short side for a Hub, and having all your ads at the bottom isn't a good idea - many visitors won't read far enough to see them.
      
      Split your text up into several text capsules and sprinkle your ad capsules around and between.  This Hub on Capsules explains how to do it:

      Thanks for all the advice.  I probably wasn't going to delete them, and revising is probably the best idea.  They have been around for a bit, so their own linking would be beneficial for something else.

      Depends on what you consider to be "performance". Hubscore, or actual monetary throughput?

   Even low performance is performance so I don't see any advantage to deleting them, financially speaking.

   The only thing it may affect is your hubber score. There are other ways to increase your hubber score to offset any negative that you would get from a low hub score. Such as hup hopping, participating in the forums, commenting on hubs, and basically getting your hub karma up.
   
   The other thing to think about is a hub may have a score of 49 now, but can jump up to 65 later on.
   
   If you are really worried, then you need to set a low point for your hubs of say around 40. You will need to decide what you are comfortable with. Then if the hub drops that low, give it a week to see if it stays that low or jumps back up.
   
   With my hubs, the lowest score I ever had was a 47, and now the lowest hub is at a 65.
   
   The other thing you can do is to review your hub and see if you can add anything useful to it, add a personal experience to it if possible, or even add more of your own comments, thoughts, and feelings. Adding your own experience or feelings helps to connect with a reader.
   
   For example if I was looking at an article on disease, I can go to many places that have statistics, symptoms, and treatment. If you add a personal experience on how you or a friend dealt with it, and what worked for you then I would be a lot more interested in the hub.
   
   If you were writing a handy man article, not only would I want to read how to, but also your personal experience of doing the project. Was it easy or tough for you? What mistakes did you make, so we now know how to avoid them? If written in the right way, mistakes can become humor.
   
   I think trying to give your hubs a personal touch goes a long way. I know it is not always possible, but very nice when it can be done.

   IMHO deleting a hub that earns at all (albeit only a little) to improves one's hubscore would be putting the cart before the horse.

   You would probably be better off to add extra content or include a youtube clip. Or write on a similar topic and group it. I am no expert but unless it seriosly violates the terms I wouldn't delete them. Wishing you good luck.

   I have a lot of hubs that are very low, score-wise:  under 50.  I don't care.  They are poems.  They are not meant for selling stuff.  I don't have any commercial or ad status on any of them.
   
   I put them up to share, and I feel that if people are reading my other hubs, they may well stop by and enjoy by poetry as well, so I leave them.
