      Nothing to be critical of.
      Well written and easy to read.
      This is probably not going to make money, but as a hub, it is as good as any in my view.

         Thanks earnestshub.  Right now I'm just looking to get a feel for what a good hub looks like.  Once I get a few more out there then maybe I'll work on earning money with them.  I confess I know nothing about keywords, adsense, affiliates, etc.  One lesson at a time!  Thanks again for the encouragement.

   I would suggest breaking up the long paragraphs into smaller ones. That would make it more reader-friendly. It is a good start for your first hub.
   Is there a way you might add some sub-titles within the story? By breaking up the article into several text capsules, you could use the titles to introduce the next phase of the article.

      Thanks for the advice.  I actually just cut and pasted this from the word document where I originally typed it out into a single "capsule" and only broke it up into 2 so that I could include a picture in the middle, ha ha.  I will work on breaking up large blocks of text on my next hub, and using sub headings to keep it organized.  Thanks!

         There's no reason to wait until your next hub. Why not finesse your existing one? The HP platform makes it easy to cut and paste text sections, and you can add subheads, include pics (be sure about copyright / attribution - plenty of helpful hubs where you can  about that), and links etc. Once you get the hang of it, it's a simple, user-friendly, yet very sophisticated platform. And one of the key features is that you can go back and revise anything you like, any time you like. Just click the 'edit' button above your article (or within the 'My account' section under your profile), tweak away, them click 'done editing' at the top. Cheers. And welcome to HP.

            Jeez, you'd think someone giving advice would at least avoid errors, wouldn't you?
            
            I meant to say "plenty of helpful hubs where you can *learn* about that".
            
            Also  "them click 'done editing'" would have been  "* then* click... ", if I'd taken more time to properly read my message before clicking 'submit'.

   Try to get the first capsule to come down far enough for an ad but not too long. This helps with sales.
