    Just wondering:

    Do I get a cookie?

    Another HP merit badge?

Is there some sort of parade involved?

I don't mean to spoil it if y'all were planning a surprise party.

I'm assuming, of course that this is some sort of world record.

Do the Guinness people come to you, or should they be contacted?

    And I haven't a THING to wear...

Within 24 hrs after you hit the mark, you will get your accolade pinned to your profile page.

      By the way Congrats!

Let me know when you reach 38,000. That's where I'm at right now.

Yes, Dave Matthews, but you tour around the world constantly.  Playing hundreds of concerts a year just to get followers seems a bit gimicky.  No, I'll stick with the old fashioned way... high quality informative writing.

Blimey. That is old fashioned.  No chance mate.

    Congrats.

    Way to go.

Accolades are a great way of looking at the mirror.

    Best Regards. smile

So... then HP contacts the Guinness folks on my behalf?

Do I need to get fancy invitations printed for the gala?

Thus, you got a brand new fan. smile

        Many thanks, M'lady.

As there is clearly some sort of accounting error attributing too many digits to your number of followers, I can only assume that HP's servers are malfunctioning.

Assuming, therefore, that you are a newbie, perhaps you would benefit from my vast expertise in the area of making money with Hubpages:

        http://hubpages.com/hub/Woohoo-Making-m … h-Hubpages

Don't worry, if you follow the foolproof system, you'll get to 1000 views someday too.

Thats why I still nose around here.

I learned to love their malfunctions.

You made me smile too much, I am afraid I have to see my lipsist tomorrow, they aches, and refuse to go back.

Any celebration is on your part as hitting 1000 is just the beginning of always watching and waiting to get to 10,000; 100,000 and eventually 1,000,000

I have to say aiming for a million is the way to go.

I would, but I don't want anyone else to feel bad because they can't reach this historic mark.  No, probably better to just lead by example.

Not sure on what basis you trusted me but they are on your public profile.  I have to say I am thoroughly depressed.  Briefly.  Must write a hub about it.

    But.. but...

Their profile descriptions all show them to be professionals at the top of their field.  Well respected and successful lawyers, scientists, writers...

Surely such advice from such highly regarded sources is admissible in any court.

My profile description is certainly gospel.

    Man.  Missed it.

Been too busy selling blood the past couple days to write anything.  Apparently you have to WRITE things for people to read them around here.  Bloody unfair.  I should write a hub about it.

Regardless, today's the day. I have deigned to toss out a fluff-piece to the jackals. Though I am loathe to do so, such is the price of success.
