I applied for Google Adsense with the following url:

    https://hubpages.com/profile/rdalan

Their rejection was lengthy, but here it is in its entirety:

    "Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into AdSense at this time.

We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.

    Issues:
    - Domain ownership

    ---------------------

    Further detail:
Domain ownership: To complete our review of your website, we need to confirm that you have access to the HTML source code of the URL you've submitted or were given access to AdSense via a third-party platform.

    I. If you host your own website or can edit the HTML code, please complete the following steps:

       1. Access the HTML source code of hubpages.com/profile/rdalan.
       2. Create a separate page on the site and paste the snippet:

This post confirms my ownership of the site and that this site adheres to Google AdSense program policies and Terms and Conditions:  ca-pub-3558212778881050

       3. Resubmit the application as described below after replacing hubpages.com/profile/rdalan in the 'Website URL' with the URL of the page on which you have pasted the snippet.

II. If you would like to monetize your YouTube channel:

If you'd like to submit your YouTube channel for monetization, please apply for the YouTube partner program. If you've already been invited to become a YouTube partner, follow the instructions in the invitation email you received.

Please keep in mind that submitting a YouTube URL without an invitation to participate in the program won’t enable you to display Google ads in videos or on your channel page.

Learn more about the YouTube partner program criteria and the countries where it is currently available at
    http://www.google.com/support/youtube/b … wer=82839.

III. If you'd like to monetize your content created on an external publishing or sharing platform:

If you'd like to submit a page or channel that was created on an external publishing or sharing platform, please check if the platform offers AdSense monetization opportunities. If so, make sure to apply for AdSense through your publishing platform following their guidelines.

Please keep in mind that applying for AdSense without following the instructions provided by your publishing platform may not enable you to display Google ads on your page."

I have asked Google Adsense for help, and received no response at all.  I realize you all must have seen these posts on the forum many times, but I don't know how to locate them without searching through tons of old posts.  Anyone have any ideas?

The URL you are quoting is incorrect, as it begins with "https".

The correct URL, as I have previously explained and quoted, is your profile URL, which is as follows:

    http://hubpages.com/profile/rdalan

Here is the link to the previous discussion. Starting multiple threads on the same topic is not advisable due to forum rules.

Perhaps he submitted loads of applications if he's posted multiple threads, had one approved, didn't realize, did something against Adsense TOS and thats why its showing this message.

Just a note, Adsense records your computer's ISP.  Unless you permanently change computers at the same time the new email isn't necessarily going to make them see you as a new user. Applying in an incorrect or repeated way can get you perm-refused, so that is just a cautionary note.

Maybe I'm wrong actually, I got that refused error by accident when I tried to sign in with another email of mine by accident. I got my account approved 2 years ago smile

I did use http:// when I applied. I inadvertently added the s when quoting you the address.  Sorry.

I just applied again with the http://hubpages.com/profile/rdalan

Thanks for all your responses.  I will let you know what happens.
