Hi. I am new to HubPages. Google Adsense has rejected my URL a couple times. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Here are the two URLs I have tried:
hubpages.com/profile/rdalan
hubpages.com/hub/So-You-Want-to-be-A-Vegetarian
Your profile page URL is what you should be using, namely:
http://hubpages.com/profile/rdalan
That would be the first one I listed. I tried, but it was rejected?
Well, the first one you listed did not include the "http://" - at least not in your listing. Whether or not your application was rejected, your profile URL is the only correct option. I suggest you study the Learning Center, a link is provided at the bottom of this page. Also, many people get rejected by AdSense, sometimes for mysterious reasons, the forum has many previous discussions about that.
I did include the https:// this time in trying to follow your advice. This is the reply I received from Google AdSense:
"Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after reviewing your application, we're unable to accept you into AdSense at this time.
We did not approve your application for the reasons listed below.
Issues:
- Domain ownership
---------------------
Further detail:
Domain ownership: To complete our review of your website, we need to confirm that you have access to the HTML source code of the URL you've submitted or were given access to AdSense via a third-party platform.
I. If you host your own website or can edit the HTML code, please complete the following steps:
1. Access the HTML source code of hubpages.com/profile/rdalan.
2. Create a separate page on the site and paste the snippet:
<p>This post confirms my ownership of the site and that this site adheres to Google AdSense program policies and Terms and Conditions: ca-pub-3558212778881050 </p>
3. Resubmit the application as described below after replacing hubpages.com/profile/rdalan in the 'Website URL' with the URL of the page on which you have pasted the snippet.
II. If you would like to monetize your YouTube channel:
If you'd like to submit your YouTube channel for monetization, please apply for the YouTube partner program. If you've already been invited to become a YouTube partner, follow the instructions in the invitation email you received.
Please keep in mind that submitting a YouTube URL without an invitation to participate in the program won’t enable you to display Google ads in videos or on your channel page.
Learn more about the YouTube partner program criteria and the countries where it is currently available at
http://www.google.com/support/youtube/b … wer=82839.
III. If you'd like to monetize your content created on an external publishing or sharing platform:
If you'd like to submit a page or channel that was created on an external publishing or sharing platform, please check if the platform offers AdSense monetization opportunities. If so, make sure to apply for AdSense through your publishing platform following their guidelines.
Please keep in mind that applying for AdSense without following the instructions provided by your publishing platform may not enable you to display Google ads on your page."
My advice said nothing about using "https://"
Quite. Enter it *exactly* as WE wrote it.
But first write more hubs. You are not likely to be approved based on any platform with only one page of content.
Also your one hub contains typos and incorrect information. (e.g. by the most commonly used definition an ovo-vegetarian is one who *does* eat eggs, not one who does not).
I did resubmit exactly as you had said, with no s after http. And I received the same bizarre reply about url domain.
If I need to write more I can do that. It seems odd that Google Adsense leads one to believe that the problem lies elsewhere though.
Thanks for the ovo edit psycheskinner.
Adsense can be a bit opaque and what they say is not always exactly what the problem is, there seem to be a series of automated responses.
If in the doubt the most reliable method is to start a blog, post at least 10 times and apply after six months. As if yet I haven't heard of that method failing.

As mentioned in this thread: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/75200There are many spammers who still have thousands of hubs up, even if they are on probation. Obviously flagging an account doesn't work so for those of us who are still trying to help Hubpages in any way - adopt a SPAM account and...

Stumbled on this on an old forum thread. go to http://hubpages.com/profile to see a cool "quilt" of HP profiles. go to http://hubpages.com/profile/YOUR PROFILE NAME/map to see a cluster of your article categories. Of course, actually put your user name in place of YOUR PROFILE NAME.
