Lyricsingray started the excellent thread "Recommend another hubbers hub"....
I thought that it would be a great idea to dive much deeper into the depths of this vast lake of words and pluck out some treasure.
So rather than recommend a hub by some of the big fish who have already been caught hook line and sinker by this fantastic website, I want to try and catch some of those smaller fry in the hope that they will stay around and swim a little longer.
I will kick off with somebody who I found through the 'latest hubs' tab....
StevieDow http://hubpages.com/profile/StevieDow
56 Good quality hubs in 2 months in a niche which he clearly knows a lot about (fishing, rather aptly), including lots of unique photos (taken himself) and a clear passion about his chosen subject. Only has 10 fans, deserves more, if you like fishing then head over to his profile, check out his stuff, and consider following him!
Right, who is next up?
I became dfelker´s follower because of the HubMob hub: To Catch a Clever Leprechaun. The hubber is interesting because of different hubs on different topics - has 47 hubs and 28 followers. Maybe you would like to become one:

She-rah has 11 hubs and 33 followers. She has a lot of knowledge about certain health topics and she is very willing to help if you ask a question or leave a comment.

Hey Ryankett. Thanks for recommending my dad, StevieDow. I recently turned him on to Hubpages and he's really into it now, it's nice to see his efforts recognized.
My dad really is on his game when it comes to fishing and knows exactly what he's talking about. Anyone interested in real, informative, first hand experience fishing advice would benefit from his hubs.
I'll let him know you gave him a plug if he hasn't seen this already!
Thanks!
Surprisingly, you have too much time on your hands, Ryan!
I'm going to keep this up whether people get involved or not!
emfoster91 - http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/post/40109
This fella is keeping a diary of his experience travelling around India and some places which may or may not be in India, an enthusiastic travel writer, who has 17 hubs from the past 2 months of travelling (and it appears is being followed enthusiastically by his father). I just read a couple, sounds very interesting and has made me want to travel to India....
Just 3 fans.... get involved!
This guy has only three followers and 17 hubs...an excellent writer for those with interest in German language!
http://hubpages.com/profile/Requiem
What a wonderful idea ryankett. I read some of this guys hubs and they are excellent. I became fan number 4! He deserves many more.

Looks like I got the link wrong on this one!

she was nominated twice in the health contest weekly winners
and won twice for dailiy winners contest!
take a look at her hubs!
Thank you prettydarkhorse.... I will take a look, remember this thread if you find anymore! I think its a great way to welcome and encourage new hubbers a little, even if I do say so myself!
you're welcome Ryankett, and thank you for helping hubbers which are new!
Ill post some more again!
Oh geez, you mean "fan count" actually means something? I've seen people follow one right after the next, second after the second on their hubtivity meter, with a reciprocating return that often equalled a 3:1 return in "fan back" favors - which, would explain why the "fan status" is not a good indicator of anything, actually.
Anyway, the forums are great to be back on; you can surely agree with that...
Check out Summer Steward. She writes great, evocative poetry.
http://hubpages.com/profile/SummerSteward
dang it!!! Stole mine...but true nonetheless!
Ahh! Thank you!! At 49 now does the recommendation magically disapear when I hit 50?
Wayne Brown is an exceptional storyteller. Check him out.

Jule is an educator in the Midwest. She's been here for 2 months and has 21 fans. She's picked a decent garden niche and has some interesting hubs. Check her out.
I just found one and she's feisty, and not afraid to speak her mind!
http://hubpages.com/profile/JeniferD
OK here's another good one. I've been following coverley1 since she joined and am one of just 13 fans.
She writes about her adventures on the road in Australia. Her writing beautiful and her honesty shines through. She also takes great photos.
I hope you enjoy her stories.

Awful Poet has a fan name LilithMarie, that is new to the scene. http://hubpages.com/fans/add/LilithMarie
Just as good. I like her style as well as awfulpoet's.
I'm still alive and breathing, I love you all.
Check her out: She's brand new hubber with a lot of hubs already!

This fan of mind appears to need a little boost to getting her hubs off to a good start; http://hubpages.com/profile/raquiellet
After reading this hub by GetitRite, you'll be a fan.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Rudolph-The-Red … elf-Esteem
Although I love to piggyback, here's another recommendation...Zac828...found this guy on hubnuggets.
http://hubpages.com/hub/My-Writing-Day
http://hubpages.com/profile/SpiritLeo
18 hubs: English linguistics, finance, IT, etc.
and only 12 fans...
Thank you for giving me some exposure. Nothing like adding a hundred reads to your hubs in a day! Thanks Ryankett
No worries StevieDow.... I just figured that I would do something to help decent new hubbers. You just happened to be the first one that I found via 'Latest Hubs'.... amongst the piles of absolute rubbish which can be found in there!
Hoepfully this thread can continue to provide a bit of traffic to other good new hubbers too. You actually now have prime place at the top of this thread for as long as it lasts, so I guess that traffic will continue for you!
No thank you required though, your hub and my eyes were just in the right place at the right time
I'm following OregonWino: http://hubpages.com/profile/OregonWino
I like his recommendations for wines under $10.
I would like to add Mr. Daydreams to this list I really enjoy his Hubs http://hubpages.com/profile/mr.+daydream
I recommend MrGenero. He has only 7 fans and 10 Hubs, but his Hub http://hubpages.com/hub/Dominion-The-Ar … Ones-Craft
was awesome. I hope some of you take the time to check out his Hubs.
here's six of them that I suggest in no particular order. I hope that doesn't violate the rules here. lol

Wonderful writing, as well!
Great idea, Ryan.
Lisa is new, with only 2 hubs, but they are both great!
http://hubpages.com/profile/lisa+brazeau
she only has 14 followers!
Okay, 8 months and I think 8 followers! Gabriel is great! Please check him out, and for a much needed scenic view, his latest hub on hiking is magnificent!
http://hubpages.com/profile/Gabriel+Wilson
i went through m entire list of followers and these are the ones with less than 50 followers ... some have only one hub and some have just a few more than that
http://hubpages.com/profile/freddykrueger
http://hubpages.com/profile/Funkeysociety
i have so many more but it would be way to many for someone to catch up on so i will just do it 2 by 2
Right, I am bringing this thread back. Its a good way to integrate some newbies into the community.
I am going to cheat a little here with this one, but I just this second discovered a new hubber who has clearly made an immediate impact on the site, LSKing.
http://hubpages.com/profile/LSKing
Why am I cheating? Well, she has 54 followers. I am going to pretend that I am dyslexic, I first read it as 45.
LSKing has already won TWO hubnuggets, despite publishing just 27 hubs, that is surely a great achievement?
I just read her hubpage 'Long Distance Relationships Do Work', http://hubpages.com/hub/Long-Distance-Relationship-Love
One that I can particularly relate to, seeing as I too have had success in a relationship which was tested by a year apart.
Welcome to hubpages LSKing!
I will introduce a new hubber every few days, feel free to share your own great discoveries!
he has some great how- to hubs, book reviews, how to use trackers, understanding sponsored links, how to buy a car.
well written. and adds humor.
http://hubpages.com/profile/Time+Spiral
http://hubpages.com/profile/Robs+World
Robs World has just over 20 hubs but they follow a range of subjects - all of which are interesting and range from domestic violence & family recipes through to liquid nails.
This looks interesting. Now, where do I find a hubber with less than 50 followers..........
http://hubpages.com/profile/passthejelly
check her out
If you like reading travel hubs with great pictures and also love Australia try reading some of Sidney Morgan's hubs http://hubpages.com/profile/SidneyMorgan

Stumbled on this on an old forum thread. go to http://hubpages.com/profile to see a cool "quilt" of HP profiles. go to http://hubpages.com/profile/YOUR PROFILE NAME/map to see a cluster of your article categories. Of course, actually put your user name in place of YOUR PROFILE NAME.

Here's my thinking, we're hopefully increasing others traffic by supporting another Hubbers Hub.And may it continue for everyone. However I find myself receiving my favorite Hubbers newest publish Hub 6:30am sharp and I begin to read.More often than not, I skip right by that Hubbers profile, and...

Hi, I am currently attempting to sign up for the Amazon Affiliate program. I followed the step by step instructions that Hubpages provides, but when I try to imput the URL from my profile page, Amazon rejects it as an invalid URL. I've tried deleting the http, adding a "www." and nothing...
by Susannah Birch 13 years ago
I've come across several links in the last few days where the "hubpages" has been completely removed from the link making it a dead end. I've fixed a few already but I'm sure I'm not the only one.I originally thought it was because of the trackers but it seems to happen only when the link...
