Anyone please let me know how you promote your hubs?  What method do you use?  Any tips please.  Thanks.

why not start by sharing your link with your facebook friend and twitter followers.thats one way you can promote your hubs.perhaps you have other websites where you can promote.keep that in mind.it may help.

Hi, thanks for your advice.  I have done this few times and google analytics is showing some traffics are coming from Facebook but its not huge.  I am just curious about any other ways.  Thanks.

Scrawl down to  end of your hubs and at the end where you see share  click on that button.  and hub pages shows you so many means of promoting hubs .. other than face book and twitter.
      Backlink  for more traffic.. smile

I have not had much luck with the ones at the bottom of the hub.  I am a newbie, though, and still trying to learn.  Hopefully, I will figure it out.  There are some things I write that I don't want to share on Facebook, but I did start a Twitter account.  I use it just for my hubs. It seems to help.

Any other suggestions? Advice on using Digg?  Reddit banned me because I tried posting too many links in a short time span.  They think I am a spammer.  I have tried contacting them, but I haven't gotten a response.  I tried finding their rules and can't find them.

I think I have already joined, but I haven't posted anything yet because I have been concentrating on learning about hubbing.  One mistake I made, which is a big one, is I did not know what a traffic exchange was.  So anyone reading this, do not use a site thats only purpose is to get clicks to your hub.  You will be unpublished for a week until all signs of the traffic exchange are gone.  I read a hub about a site and just JUMPED.  Then I wrote a hub about it, too.  I will place a warning on it as soon as I am allowed to republish it.

I will look you up on RedGage, Sofs.  I will have to figure it out too.  LOL  So, do you just post links or do you write something and put a link to your hub in what you have written?  That is backlinking, right?

        Thanks so much! smile

Hi sholland10, I can't use Reddit anymore. I had posted a few links there. I got some traffic from my latest post, but I decided to delete it because I wanted to edit something (editing is not allowed on Reddit, you can only delete if you want to change something). When I tried to repost that link, a message saying "that reddit only allows text posts" appears. I'm not sure what that means. I've waited for a few days, but to no avail. I guess I have to look for other social bookmarking sites.
Look me up on Redgage too! I'm still cheerfulnuts there.smile

Hi sasta10, are you asking about Redgage? Redgage has some glitches and it can be tough to sign up or sign in. Try to refresh and click on the sign up button again. A window should appear. If it doesn't work, try to click on any link within the page, wait for the page to load, then, click on sign up again.

I always have to push the sign in button twice.  No refresh, no repeating my password or pin, just push the sign in twice.

Hi wilderness. I'm not sure why it doesn't work for me (pushing the sign in button twice). I think maybe because my internet connection is slow. But it always works when I refresh or click on other links.

After four months you can no longer be considered a newbie. Although we are still learning as long as we are here. I am one month ahead of you and haven't considered myself a newbie since the end of the second month.

I haven't taken the time to look your hubs over but if you write anything of interest to the business world you might try ibosocial. It's where one of my backlinks come from. They have blob capabilities and actually like it when people write two short ones a day. You can also advertise your hubpages work as long as it applies to business in some way two times a day. These are picked up and put on search engines. I know I have found mine there already. If memory serves they were on page two.

Today I realized I need to spend less time in traffic exchanges and more time backlinking to get organic traffic to the corporation and my hub pages work. If I can write this much for a hub pages forum I might as well spend this much time trying to get organic backlinks to my corporation and my hubs.

Yes, I think they've banned me too. Every time I try to post on there I receive a message saying you're posting too many Links. odd though, as it had been at least two prior to that that I'd tried.

I have connected my hubpage profile to Google analytics and it is showing some traffics from Facebook but my main traffics are coming from google organic search results.  Thanks.

Mida....Stop bucking the system....pay it forward and link to someone elses Hubs or even web pages and the gift you give will return ten fold.  I'm not going to get all Biblical about recieving and everything but just in my expereince being a nice person and as for me a nice guy as you do for people something always moves some other random person to do the same for you.

Keep Writing WE WANT TO READ THEM!

Cameron, you are so right.  I do add others links to my hubs, and when I really like a hub, I share it on FB or Twitter. smile

Personally, I don't promote my hubs.  I decided that, for me, the time was better spent making more hubs. They still seem to do okay and periodically get a flood of traffic presumably from someone else stumbling or stuff like that.
