To me watching all of this fake compromise and posturing from both parties, proves to me that All these Women and Men in office think or care about is pure Political power and the joy of welding it around.

There is absolutely no, none, nada- thought of people in America, our needs, our dignity, our welfare.

From the President down, this is about photo ops, foolish endevor, lies and devious behavior to make it look like a legitiment job!

At the very top of our goverment- our treasured seats of power, Executive, Congress, Senate, Supreme court, Representatives. In all of this, we allow the very lowest scum of the earth to sit prosper and fester!

we are a joke, a ruse. A shell game and never a republic.

I am discusted with all of it.  How about you?

The plan is simple, get the President back out of the negotiations, he is only 1/3 of our government.
It is simple, let our ELECTED Representatives in Congress do the job. Each one should have an opportunity to speak and decide how they will cast a vote.
      I wrote.

I have written all the leaders of both parties and requested that the issues be placed on the FLOOR OF CONGRESS so that our elected officials can do their job. The President’s job, since he can’t seem to get the parties to agree, is to approve or disapprove legislation. Our country is not a dictatorship and OBAMA IS NOT OUR DICTATOR. Stop the behind closed door sessions, put all the issues open to the public. Submit a bill, debate the bill and vote on the bill, that’s how our government is suppose to work.
What you see when Obama speaks is not what you get, THAT’S A FACT.
AMERICA NEEDS TO SOUND OFF AND LET OUR REPRESENTATIVES KNOW WE ARE WATCHING.

Indeed, it really is just political posturing and nonsense.

Here's a candidate that openly says this and argues against it:

In fact, this nonsense has been going on for decades.

Of course we're disgusted, Dutch. Where ya been man?! I figured this one out alone in 7th grade. Recently, I discussed the idea of running for office and ALL of my friends agreed it would be beneath me. Makes ya wonder why the scum of the earth keeps getting elected.

Both parties have failed Americans. It's a shame.

where Americans fail is in the Political process, we do not ban up togeather to force a strong money base to go against Lobbyists, and special interest groups, that force the garbage on to us.  We are all making it day to day and wish not to give up the cash, and thats where we really loose.

The Lobbyists and Interest folks know it and out spend us, and our wounderfull for sale Congress and Senate is not to proud to stand with hat in hand and expect it!

Complacent, sure, but more like to broke to make it happen also.

Maybe Congress has become obsolete. Look at what they are passing for laws, most likely a result of influence from special interests anyway. When something needs to voted on send it directly to the same districts that vote in normal elections, let the people vote on it directly. All of the excess wording and legalese is not necessary, just a way for them to stay employed.Look at the health care bill,"We need to pass it so we know what's in it"? Repeal of Glass Steagall? They do more harm than good.
