Hi guys, I am from Singapore. For those who think Singapore is somewhere in China, please take a good look at the globe.

Anyway, lately, my country has seen a influx in foreigners from China, Philippines, etc.
Not only that, cost of housing has increase and also cost of public transport. It is getting ridiculously. With crowds everywhere, traffic jam, train commuters like ants..Man! I cant get a breather.

Not only that, this country has becoming so strict, and too conservative that I find it hard to fit in.

So Im thinking of a place to migrate? But the world is just so big..

I don't think it's legal for you to use the word amazon in your forum name.

    Welcome to Hubpages! smile

I don't think I can answer your question and give it the value it requires. I only say that, because I don't know you as a person. I know nothing about you.

So, if you apparently feel like you don't fit in where you are presently, then it would be suggested that you move from there. Your question is asking "where", which can only be chosen by you. You will have a trial and error path ahead of you, until you locate such a place(where you fit in).

Then again, you could probably fit in where you are, but it is you who are holding you back? Who is to really say? But, you.

    Good luck going forward. smile

You have a strong point, ultimately, it is me at the end of the day who holds the answer to my own serenity. I probably give it a thought...It's not an easy decision, there are many factors to consider eh..

my suggestion would be to go to Philippines or one of those places where they're all coming to Singapore from - I don't know why, but I bet there is plenty of good space left behind by them.  Maybe I'm wrong.  I have several places in mind to migrate to when I really can't stand it here anymore, but I'm not sharing them!

Come to Florida, USA. Over here, everyone came from somewhere! Plus, you get the Florida resident discount when you visit Disney World. lol

How much does a decent house cost there if I may ask?

Depends where you want to live. Miami is expensive but there are smaller cities that are affordable. Anywhere from 130,000 to a million dollars.

Canada is nice except our taxes in Ontario are way too high and cost of living is high. The winters are cold and the summers are hot. But other than that it's okay.

Canadians are known to be the most friendly, trustworthy person on Earth..But does the tax payer money goes to good?

In my country, it's the number 8 for worlds expensive place to live in for expats, which affects us locals too..

Although our tax is quite high too, we don't really benefit from it to a certain extent. Which is quite sad..plus we dont have any freedom of speech. Many of us are suffering in silence. One wrong word we utter and we might get in trouble! For real!

I don't think the average person benefits at all with our high taxes but we do have freedom of speech here which is a plus. We do have a health plan but we also have a huge shortage of doctors (in Ontario)  which makes many people go to seek medical attention in the states. (Those that can afford to pay the doctors in the USA)

The best place to migrate in my opinion would be that planet that they went to in Star Trek that one time where it was just like Earth except it was more or less female dominated and all of the women were tall and blonde and beautiful.
Might not have been Star Trek now that I think of it, but if we find that planet I'm migrating there somehow.
Failing that, I might pick Sweden.

I think you are forgetting that those women had first seduced and enslaved all the men and the StarTrek voyagers barely got away - they were making the men work in a mine or something - right?  I'm sure that's the one.  So watch out where you're going and beware of women who are too good to be true.  (like me! hahaha)

Men are enslaved here as well and its not always by women.

mmmm... If it is the United States there are so many beautiful places. It depends on where you would like to lay your head. The type of people you truly enjoy being around, the weather and the city. Where do you think you would like to migrate to? If you re considering the united states start thinking about which state you would like to live in and then ask the hubbers who reside there what the city and state are alike. smile
