I was getting an average of about 30 page views a day after the first drop I had at the beginning of the month (where my views dropped from more than 100 a day). On July 24, I got 60 page views. On July 25, I got 9. From that point, I haven't gotten more than 10 page views in a day.
Does anyone else have any idea why my traffic has dropped more than 90% since the beginning of the month? Will I eventually get 0 views a day? Has anyone else been experiencing the same sort of problem?
Thanks.
My traffic has remained fairly steady even after the first cataclysmic Panda attack. My sub-domain results are not much different than they were before the change, despite the reports of major increases from other hubbers.
I think it is just a coincidence because my keyword traffic has increased slightly when comparing July 17th-24th with July 24th-31st. The slight increase appears to be directly related to publishing a new Hub.
I am the same before the subdomain my profile was 85 now its down to 79 and also the views have gone down which other people here have said the same has happened to them ...like yourself I have no idea why ???
Lilian, the first thing to point out is that your score is completely unimportant. It's a reflection of how active you are on HubPages, but it doesn't do anything to improve your traffic or earn you more money. So stop thinking about it!
Views will go up and down. When you first publish Hubs they will get a burst of traffic. After that dies down, you'll be in the doldrums for a while, because you have to wait to see if Google decides to rank your Hub well in search results. Hubs do get indexed quickly but it can take weeks or even months for it to climb the rankings. Then you'll see new traffic coming in.
You have too few hubs to be tracking your traffic in any meaningful way. I wouldn't worry about fluctuations until you have around 100 hubs.
Two days back I switch over to subdomain and currently few hubs getting better ranking in the search engine over post panda.
Hi Gaunt you are probably right about too few hubs thanks for the comment
Like I said in a Sub Domain related thread, this week saw dramatic increases in traffic to Pre-Panda levels. I've made the switch today to sub-domains, things should only get better!
I even saw my Hubberscore go up to 98 which I don't see often.
Another Panda update was released on or about July 24th - and I took a huge hit, too. I switched to the subdomain on July 1st (part of the Beta group) and within days saw an almost complete return to pre-Panda levels in both traffic and earnings.
As of July 24th, however, my traffic and earnings are less than they were with the initial Panda release. I'm getting completely frustrated and discouraged about being here (HP that is) ...
@Jtyler. When HP did their switch my traffic plummeted like 50% or less. But when I switched to my subdomain it started to rise steadily again, however, some of my hubs have not gotten any traffic in nearly a month. So what I have been doing is sprucing up those hubs to be more Google friendly with keywords and tags.
I have not noticed much change at all in my traffic, but then I don't get much traffic to speak of. My profile score has stayed roughly the same, within plus or minus 3 points. But, while it is interesting to make note of, it makes little or no difference. I'm here to read what others write, comment, and occasionally write something myself.

I was loving that my traffic was doubled for a while... it was hitting levels I had never seen before on HubPages. But today I just noticed it's down at least 1,000 views, and I check pretty much every day.I'm not sure what could have caused this but the only thing I've done different is I've been...

I've been thrilled since the subdomain change - both traffic and earnings have returned to pre-Panda levels until........I just checked my page views for the past 24 hours and it's half of what it was AT ITS WORST! A sea of blue arrows!Anyone else seeing this happen to them? I'm a little freaked...

I hear people talking all the time about hubs that produce good readership, but I know this number differs for many. In your case, how many views per month do you think is good for any given article? Just curious.

Today my HP traffic was the highest ever - WAY higher than it was pre-Panda. Since the switch to sub-domains, my traffic and earnings have steadily climbed. What I want to know is:Is this likely to last? Why is it happening?Just because I've endured some Google algorithm updates, am I likely to...

The Googlebot visits new hubs within 30-60 minutes while they are in 'Pending' mode and the NOINDEX tag is in place for 24 Hours. This means that the bot does not index the page, and does not return for days or weeks. New pages do not get indexed for days or weeks. This causes lost traffic and lost...
