That's a great way to start your Amazon career!

Yes, that's the way it works - someone clicks through on your link and buys anything you get credit.  I sold 2 expensive bathroom sinks last week and I certainly didn't advertise anything like that either.  Won't complain, though - it added over $20 to my anemic Amazon earnings last month!

I hardly ever sell things actually advertised on my hubs! lol
But sometimes I get several, or a big one or even a good handful of medium priced stuff, either way I am always a giddy girly when they come in! lol

I see that all the time on my Amazon earning and orders reports.
Many times products I haven't written about or choose to display are not the ones customers buy.
    That's alright though.wink

Wow - what a great sale! That happened to me once - someone bought a flat screened TV and I got a nice chunk of change. Unfortunately, they returned it the next month... so I lost a nice chunk of change, lol! Did they send a gift cards via your email account (they give you a code to use)? I think I elected to receive a check, so I have a long wait for that, lol!

I sold 20 Kindles a couple of months ago and netted $180 from the one sale.  Didn't have them advertised on my hubs either.  Ya never know.

Well I am guessing i have to wait 2 months to get the gift certificate. I recieved an email that read they were sending payments for May and it was dated July 28. Well that stinks.

Yep.  They pay every 2 months to take care of any returns and cancelled orders.  But if you sell amazon products regularly, you get paid every month.  smile
