off one of my Hubs and made a $71 commission. It wasn't even a product I was promoting. Sweet!!
Awesome!!
Its probably on a happily married hubby or bride now!
oh,good,you are beginning a big business now@
wow, thats unbelievable, you are my idol
Thanks guys!! This was my second largest affiliate sale ever. My largest was a $20,000 piece of construction equipment that earned me about $120+. That was off one of my Squidoo lenses.
Hey! Do you know anyone who wants to buy some construction equipment and is getting engaged? The best I ever got was $14 for selling rodent deterrents.
That's great, Janet. Any idea on how you can do it again and again?
Thats great, 'WOW' what an amazing commission, the best I ever done was the sell of two immigration law books on amazon from one of my hubs!
Way to go! congrats
Wow that is freaking awesome.. i guess the couple just got lucky for you...
Thanks again guys! It is sales like this that inspire me to keep working hard. The reason I shared this sale here is because this could happen to anyone of us. So, hopefully you found some inspiration reading about it. The fact is I didn't do anything special, didn't do anything that you guys aren't doing. I just got lucky. Maybe next time, the big sale will be yours!
Thanks for sharing Janet21. It's wonderful to hear good news. And congrats on the sale.
Way to go Janet - that is great. I love big bonuses like that. I had a big one from Squidoo not too long ago when someone purchased a $600 slide - it is always nice to see big numbers and it is true it can happen to anyone.
Could you post the hubpage that featured the $1,000 ring sale. I am wondering how you incorporated the revenue capsule with your content.
Wow.. just wow.. and just what I needed to hear.. Haven't made any rev on Hubpages since I signed up, primarily cause only have an Amazon account and was kinda in the doldrums.. This has so made me hopeful.. as did Mark Knowles advice in a separate forum..
Congrats and wishing you great sales in the future.. :-)
That's awesome!
I love checking out what else people buy via Amazon if they use my affiliate link; it surprises me a lot.
I've been slack, but now I am going to definitely get Amazon onto my site now. Ch-ching!
wow...it is amazing...how you do it? can share with me?
Congratulations! I'm going to get started with Amazon right now!
CONGRATS, that is awesome. Never knew anyone bought such pricey items online.
That's awesome! Funny thing: I checked my amazon sales today too (randomly), and I sold an LCD TV for about a $44 profit! Like you, it's not an item I featured...but I guess my 24 hr affiliate code stuck with them as they shopped around amazon.
Sweet!
I removed all my amazon and eBay ads cause I'm not making any cent from it.
You sure this isn't a BS?
Well done Janet! My first sale on Amazon was a wood burning stove worth several hundred dollars - I made around $50. Since then I have only sold a book!
Yet to earn on Ebay ( been advertising with them for around 6 months).
I wonder if Amazon sells banks, ships or big corporations?
That is great!
Sounds like Amazon has some amazing potential with some good hubbing a bit of luck.
how on earth you do that?? PLEASE TELL !!!! i am interested in working with amazon and could do with some tips.
It happens - if someone clicks off one of your links and goes shopping you still get the commission even if it is not what you referred. Happens to me all the time - here and on my Squidoo pages. On one of my toy lenses on Squidoo - some one bought a drive shaft for a car from Ebay. You will see it happen I am sure.
that's wonderful! Hopefully they won't return it...I madea big sale a few months ago on one of my hubs for something I wasn't promoting...nice surprise?
I had a really big order on my Amazon account once (a Karaoke machine or something). It's not a product I ever promoted. I was really pleased... until the purchaser returned the item and my commission got removed from my account!!!!

I just checked my Amazon account and noticed i have made a sale. Though not much, it's just $3.89 as commission. And guess what, it came from the hub i least expect would give me any sales. So happy to be saying this.GRRRRRRRIIIIIIII...........

It was directly related to one of my hubs, and I'm sooo happy right now. It was only a rather cheap dvd though, so the commission is probably not too high. And how long does it take before you will know if an order is actually shipped and so you will get that commission?

Just wanted to share this with everyone to let you know that dreams do come true (eventually, perhaps, but some "Loving Abundance" is starting to happen) Enelle Lamb has been writing about ADHD/ODD on Hub Pages and other sites for some time. Her self-help book "One Step Forward Two...
