Almost a month ago, I got an electric jolt through my body. I was almost asleep, but after this happened it took me another hour to get to sleep. It went from my head to my toes, and I saw a flash of white.
That was a Friday, and the following Monday I started getting headaches. Bad headaches, Migraines. Almost everyday for two weeks I had Migraines. The next weekend, no migraine. The weekend after, I got a bad headache at a wedding I went to.
The next day I went to the doctor at the urgent care facility. Nothing neurolgically wrong she said they were just migraines.
Two days later, I went to my Primary Physician. She said the same thing, but didn't heed the electrical jolt, just like the previous doctor.

I've had two more jolts, not as bad, and my headaches aren't as often(but I still get at least 1 a day, compared to 5 or 6 at first) or as bad.

Could something spritual be going on that is causing these migraines?

Sounds like a nerve/pinched nerve issue.  Go see an accupunturist.  They are more open to listening and go straight to the root (no pun intended) of the problem.

Nothing spiritual going on here. You just need to find the right kind of medical diagnosis from someone with the correct qualifications.

Consult a Neuro Surgeon and have him or her check you. The jolts and the white flash have something to do with nerves or worse.

I would not go to a Gen. Practitioner or to the ER for that. You need a Neuro specialist. Best wishes, be carefull.

      Also consider- Are you Diabetic?

I agree completely with dutchman1951! I had something like this happen to me while shopping with my daughter. She took me to the emergency room immediately. After an MRI the ER doctor told me to go see a Neurologist right away, he said he thought I had MS.

Went to the Neurologist, more tests, another MRI and his diagnosis was migraines for sure, but also scaring on my brain indicated I had had several TIAs. (Mini strokes) My neurologist gave me something like cortisone shot at the base of my spine and I've had no migraines for over a year.

        Make an appointment TODAY!

This could be happening due to psychological reasons. I am not diagnosing but just guessing. If same thing would've happened with me, my brain would've thought that something wrong has happened to me and would've gave me headaches and then after a couple of more jolts, I would've thought, they don't harm you so its not that bad a thing. Ah, I think I should never become a doctor because I guess a lot.

I'm not being disrespectful towards the medical profession but you have to bring one problem at a time to them. If you provide a cluster of issues you're dealing with, they will address the one they feel they can manage.  I've learned that over the years.

The first thing you do  is explain to the doctor the health issue you see is the most challenging to your well being. Let the doc send you for tests and get the results. Next set another appointment for the next issue and follow the routine again.

You may get more respect and attention from the doctor that way. Good luck!

I would emphasise the Re-accuring of the nerve pain, and the path it is traveling, and it is accompanied by the white flashes, the aura.

the fact that it is re-occuring several times a day, and the frequency is increasing and decreasing. Sometimes those are signs of mini strokes, or anurisums and thats no good, you can not function like that.

explain that it is affecting your quality of life and describe the pain and tingeling as a # from 1-10,  to emphasis it to her. Insist that she listen to you. and that you are not mearly having a headache.

Ask her for a referal to a Neuro specialist, ask her to recomend one to you.

being stern with her shows her that you are serious. focus your attention on it as the main point of your conversation with her. Hope this helps.

tell her Look, I do not waste my time at a Doctors office for "JUST" a simple headache, I am hurting here, and something is wrong!

      she will get it.

      Best wishes

Check into Trigeminal nerve damage. That's what this sounds like to me. I have a couple of friends who have it, and they describe it like you do. You need to address this now with doctors before it gets worse. Have them look into the possibility of Trigeminal nerve damage.

There isn't anything spiritual about this. It's all the mechanics of the human body, and the sooner you get to the root of it, the sooner you're going to be able to find relief and heal.

    Best wishes.

No question about it: See a board certified neurologist.

    Dear Narsuki,
It appears to me that the jolts you have experienced are part of the 'aura' of an attack of classical migraine. However,it may also be a symptoms of temporal lobe epilepsy. As the onset is late, I recommend to get the opinion of a consultant neurologist.
