To the people who are "Taxed Enough Already," consider that it isn't your taxes that are too high, but rather your pay is too low.
That's nonsense.
It can't be that wages are too low - the market, based on supply on demand, sets prices to the state that people want them to be.
Then the government scoops up money off the top.
The market has no bearing on who decides how much an employee is entitled to. It's the CEOs that do. The wage payers.
That's complete nonsense.
You're saying that if CEOs (the evil bastards) started paying only 4 cents an hour, we'd all starve and die?
Of course not. We'd all start our own businesses and put them out of business. OR, we'd just start working for someone else. OR, countless other responses that humans have.
Give humanity some credit: we're not all pathetic losers who need a law to survive.
There is a financial culture that sets up wages based on what they deem unilaterally to be "competitive wages." This becomes the standardized rate of pay.
Also, do you know what you need to start your own business? Capital. Do you think that many blue collar workers have capital to start their own business? How about minimum wage workers? Do you know anything?
you think you pay too much tax in the States? come to Canada where everything costs A LOT more than what is on the tag. the only place that you can expect to pay exactly whats on the price tag and not a penny more is at the liquor store...go figure!
Pfft. You Canadians and your universal healthcare and your social programs that actually "help" people.
Canada ranks higher in healthcare than the US. Typical American way, we want, want, want, but don't want to pay for it. As far as these Tea Baggers who dress up in 18th Century getup, what are they trying to represent? It was a totally different world 200 + years ago! If they want to live in the 18th Century, they need to take up residence in an Amish community.
yeah, i can't really complain. we do actually have a lot of great services here and generally, we are well taken care of.

As we Americans are acutely aware, illegals have been given amnesty to enter the country. These illegals have no contributable skills. This means that they will exhaust our social services, draining our resources which are paid for by AMERICAN tax dollars. \To exacerbate the problem further,...

I don’t understand this concept that Obama and many liberals keep clinging to…..So allow me to make it simple. If everyone is taxed at say 10% people who make more do pay more as 10% of a greater amount is more……example 10% of 100 = 10 10% 1000...
